Our family of five were the only ones on the boat! We were picked up directly on the beach at Playa Hermosa in a small boat and ferried out to the beautiful sailboat. We immediately (literally as we got on the boat) set off for the next bay because the captain and our snorkel guide had seen whales and wanted... More

Perhaps we were lucky--there were only three of us on this magical sunset cruise, but magical it was with Captain John, looking fresh out of a Disney movie, and Israel, the First Mate, showing us every nuance of sun-soaked pleasure he could find. Captain John is also a musician who plays blues banjo and his taste in music is exquisite.... More

What an amazing afternoon!! we signed up only a day in advance for the afternoon sail and snorkel. When we came it was only the 3 of us!! They still did the tour even thought others had cancelled! So we had the entire sailboat for our selves and enjoyed great snorkeling and sun on the deck! The wind was perfect... More

This was in fact an awesome tour. The pickup was at the beach via digney, cut the transfer was smooth and we got a great view if the islands close by and the sunset. Also, they provided us a present for our honeymoon, so make sure your agents informs them about any specials events that your are having, they will... More

We took the sunset sail leaving our beach at 3:30. It was a VERY relaxng time aboard. There were eight passengers. Snorkeling was included at a secluded beach area, after which we were served snacks of fresh fruit, chips & dips. Captain Isael was very friendly! Latin music played in the background for the whole trip, changing to Enya for... More

The good things: I got picked up in time, the crew is very friendly, the itinerary takes you along some nice beaches, the sunset is very nice, Israel ( the captain) goes out of his way to briefly follow a pod of dolphins. What's not so nice: the location for snorkeling is the same for all sunset cruises, including those... More

This was an awesome sailing/snorkeling trip, only 8 people plus 3 attentive crew. Highly recommended, and the price was right too.

On our final day of vacation on Costa Rica we took the sunset cruise on Kuna Vela - it was beautiful. $75 per person for 4 hours. 45 minutes to get to a snorkeling location, it was too choppy for me, but my husband enjoyed it. Then we sailed to a small secluded beach for a brief stop, then sailed... More

this sail trip was one of the highlights of the vacation. 4 hours of sailing, snorkeling, sunset and open bar for $65 per person. can beat it. we've had 11 people onboard (all Americans) as opposite to 25+ on the catamaran tours. it felt more intimate as yacht is cooler than commercial ship. we may do it again next time... We enjoyed an afternoon of snorkeling and sailing. With the temperatures soaring in January this was a welcome relief. We were brought by boat from our hotel to the Sail Boat to join another family. The first stop was snorkeling. Personally we found it marginal at best. We have been to some of the best snorkeling spots in the world,... More
