This place was opened a while ago, they changed administration 6 months ago, it seems that they really want to transform the place to a excellent family oriented attraction, animals were great!! feeding them by hand or even by mouth (jiraffes!!), dont miss the fall La Vieja you will walk just behind the waterfall!! and you will get soaking wet...... Africa Mia is a great little safari experience just south of Liberia. Driving from Liberia it's off the main road, on the right side... and down a pretty unsavory, bumpy, unpaved path. However, once you get there it's pretty lovely. You can buy carrots for $1, I believe, so that you can feed the animals. Giraffes and zebras are probably... More

It's a great place to visit with kids to have a close encounter with the animals. My 3yr and 5yr old loved it. Feeding the animal the carrots they just did not want to stop. The guide was very friendly and helpful . There is also a waterfall in the park so one must take swimwear and towels . It's... More

Nothing like getting salivated by zebras and giraffes who want your carrots! This is quite a nice property, and the animals look well taken care of. If reproduction rates are a sign of animal welfare, these little creatures must be quite happy

$65 US (deluxe option) for a ride on a '80s Land Rover through a African themed zoo, including a small brown a drink and a bag of carrots to feed the animals, $1 each extra bag-go right inside the fence and pet some animals from your open vehicle. There are other options available: to walk through the park and see... More

I am going to start with what I loved: Touching the giraffe! Since we never ever have a giraffe around this made up the whole trip. I paid the “Safari Tour” and having more access to these beautiful animals was the main advantage. The price was significantly higher than the other 2 choices and they need to create a better... Went on a lark, and it was great. They have a collection of mainly African animals, no predators, that you can get close to, feed and touch. Knowledgeable tour guides, we had a private tour as we were the only ones there....took the $15/person version and went into one enclosure to feed the giraffes-you put a carrot in your mouth,... This private park located just outside from Liberia is an option for those travelling with small kids. While it has Animals from other Destinations, honestly everyone loves Giraffes. The Animals have a lot of space and look well kept. Price is a bit high.

Absolutely fantastic tour! In general, animals seemed very happy roaming the vast grounds. Very interested in visiting with the tourists. We happened to go at just the right time so we received our very own private guide and tour bus. Jose was fantastic, answered any questions we had (even if not about the tour) and took us anywhere we wanted... More
