We had an amazing day at the Africa Safari Adventure Park on May 4, 2015. We chose this excursion because we wanted to experience as much as we could but I needed something without a lot of walking/hiking due to joint problems. We were not disappointed! Our driver, Alex, who picked us up at the Riu Palace about 8 AM,... More

Normally, I am not one to write horrible reviews, nor am I a hard person to please (see my other TA reviews). However, I was SO disgusted with this whole experience that I find it hard to not share. 1) RUDE TOUR GUIDE I was really truly looking forward to this tour and was greeted by a French man by... Believe it or not this is all possible in one place! The safari ride we fed giraffes, zebras, camels, ostriches and more. The kids and adults were all thrilled to have a personal encounter with them. Next we visited a huge waterfall and the second waterfall we were able to jump from! Once in a lifetime opportunity. The extra brave... More

The place was not well organized. The direction sign was poorly placed so we had to circle back on Hwy 1 to get to the unpaved road to the place. We waited for almost an hour for an English tour guide and ended up with a mixed group. The ride was very bumpy and uncomfortable. The place was very dusty.... More

We drove there without a prior reservation on December 29th. It's about 10 minutes south of Liberia on the InterAmerican Highway #1. Due to massive road construction, you kind of have to just get off when you see the sign and drive to the park on the part of the highway that isn't actually open yet but it's okay, just... More

We went there on Dec 29, which is high season in Guanacaste. We didn't have a reservation and arrived at 11am. We were told we'd be on the 12:15 tour, but ended up boarding the truck past 1pm. All this time we waited in a small restaurant area they have. There's really nothing to do whilehh you wait except eat... More

This is a great attraction, especially if you like to get up close and personal with animals. The park is under new management and is getting a facelift along with added activities and animals. The pens are very spacious and the animals are all in great condition. The staff is very friendly. It was a lot of fun to hand... More

This place is 10 minutes south of Liberia on highway 1. It is a great way to spend time. We arrived at 3:30 pm. Bought $10 worth of carrots and fed and petted zebras totally cool. This place is expanding and in January opening their hotel in the park and then you can four wheel in the park and really... More
