Near the center of town, La Ermita La Agonia has been nicely preserved to ensure memory of its 100+ years of existence. Beautiful 100+ year old colonial style church. Thankfully, Liberia has gotten a preservation society in place now to protect gems like this. Currently being renovated so I am hopeful it will be more beautiful than ever soon!

A pretty little church but it seems closed for good. If you're expecting, as some of the guides say, Liberia to be full of Colonial marvels, you may be disappointed.
