Great collection of art from Costa Rican artists. Many of which are ex-pats, but they capture the essence of the country. We bought a painting, but wanted more. Only the size of our suitcase stopped us.

Our family of four - two adults and two children stopped at the gallery on the way back to Potrero from Ricon de la Vieja. We discovered that the gallery wasn't open yet- with 1/2hr to spare we wondered the garden. We found specimen plants and trees as well as fountains and stone benches. Then a lady who lives in... Let me state this wasn't a purchasing trip. I stopped by with friends on the way to drop me off at the airport. Just wanted to share my experience. What a gem -- a wide selection of artists using a variety of medium. Took a relaxing stroll through each room, appreciating the information provided about each artist. The gallery offers... More

Visiting here I felt that I was wandering through an open-air gallery. Having a degree in art and a life-long habit of visiting museums and such, I was very pleasantly surprised by the excellent quality of artwork here. The prices generally range from about $125 to several thousand (US). Considering the talent here, I'd say the prices are realistic and... More

The Hidden Garden Art Gallery is a really cool gallery that always has new artists and interesting things to look at. Every time I stop in there they have expanded or added something new that makes it even better. They also have a market where you con find very unique items. Charlene is lovely and always makes you feel welcome.

We had read about the Hidden Garden Art Gallery in Liberia and made a point to stop there on our way to the airport. Not only is the architecture of the gallery cool but the variety,... More
