We stopped here as a suggestion from our Ecotrans tour guide on a private tour. Very nice gift shop where I purchased a LOT of coffee to bring back home. You can also taste test the coffee samples along with some complimentary cookies. A great selection of various souvenir gifts, especially some beautiful woodwork items. The staff here very friendly... More

Beautiful rosewood puzzle boxes, hammocks, magnets, key chains, coffee, you name it they have it! Great staff worked hard to keep my hands free, all my things were wrapped with care and waiting for me when I was ready to check out. They wrapped my hammock with such care, it made it unscathed through international air travel! This is a... More

We have been to the La Gran Nicoya on several occasions for souvenirs and wood pieces for our condo in Tamarindo. Found a wonderful traditional mask and beautifully crafted wooden pieces. Leonardo was friendly and so helpful in explaining the background of the art pieces. We then decided to return for the Wednesday Costa Rican evening where they serve traditional... More

We accidentally found this shop on our way to Liberia. It looked nice from the outside so we decided to stop. We are so glad we did. They had amazing souvenirs very reasonably priced. Their wood work and pottery was beautiful!! I wanted one of each!! Next, the staff were AMAZING!!!. They were all very helpful, but Cindy REALLY helped... More

We were happy to see and buy some locally made art pieces - different things which you don't find everywhere. We also had a delicious lunch here rather than the airport. The prices were very good on everything including lunch. We definately bought alot of coffe to take home-delicous!

This store was overpriced by almost two times on some items. The other smaller local stores or road side stands would be a much better bet. They don't have anything special or different here.

We stumbled onto this location while searching for lunch on our way back from a lovely stay at the beach. The choice was random, but we were pleasantly surprised first with the restaurant, then with the adjacent shop. First the food. The menu was the first authentic/typical dishes we had encountered, so that was a plus right off the bat.... More

Beautiful local art pieces make the shop more like a gallery than a shop. The coffee is some of the best I have ever had and I bought a couple for home. Please try the restaurant where you will find 5 star service, and well prepared traditional Costa Rican dishes.

Souvenirs are not usually on our things to aquire when we travel. I perfer to fill up my camera's memory card! This trip was different. My husband and I fell in love with Costa Rica! We were now on the hunt for a piece of art that would reflect us and the country that we have come to love. This... More

The staff is knowledgable & helpful. The collection of Boruca masks are wonderful. The price ranges are appealing to all.
