My family & I loved this hot spring! We could easily have spent more than 3 hours here. There are multiple natural hot springs to lounge in, a full bar, a restaurant, & exquisite gardens. This is a must do in Costa Rica! more

Eco-termales is beautiful. The hot springs are clean, refreshing and relaxing. The drinks were excellent. Dinner was just dinner. I recommend going, but don't go for the food...go for the experience. more

We stayed at Silencio del Campo and walked next door to this hot springs. From the reviews on this board , it sounded like the place we would be interested in to visit. We weren't disappointed. Alot of people were concerned about the walk on the road at night and took taxis. We found no problem with walking. The walk... more

Eco Termales was a fabulous way to spend a relaxing evening. We loved the low key, mellow, uncrowded feel of the place. We went in the evening and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The food was delicious, the landscaping was beautiful, the grounds were clean and the pools felt wonderful. We saw monkeys in the trees above the pools and enjoyed the... more

I'd recommend this place during the evening because the dinner is excellent and because the atmosphere is so relaxed and intimate. Since they limit admission, you don't get the obnoxious ambiance of a place like Baldi. The only downsides are the lack of a volcano view and the relatively limited number of pools. But, overall we highly recommend this place. more

We visited Eco-Thermales after reading good reviews of it on Tripadvisor. This was our second trip to the Arenal area and we stayed at the excellent Hotel Silencio Del Campo next door to Eco-Thermales. The thermal pool at the hotel was actually a better setting than Eco-thermales. Something many people mention as a plus for this place is the limited... more

There are several hot springs options in the Arenal area and we were quite pleased with our visit to Eco Termales. We chose this particular location due to its small size and limited visitors. The setting is very tranquil and never felt crowded. We learned that some springs in the area are not truly natural in their origin so beware.... more

We had heard that Eco-Termales was the most private, chill hot springs in the La Fortuna area. We were told that it was a little smaller than the hot springs at Tabacon and quieter than Baldi. This was what we were looking for. The session went from 5 pm to 9 pm, and, we didn't arrive until 7:00 pm because... more

We arrived in La Fortuna Friday night and tried to book Eco Termales for Saturday night. They were booked solid. So, we opted for Sunday night, 5 to 9 p.m. slot. We paid the entrance fee at our hotel. We also asked for dinner, but were told that we wouldl pay for food at the springs. Next day, on of... more

What a wonderful, relaxing place! My husband and I went on a Thursday during the 1 to 5 time slot. There were only 3 other people there. The grounds are beautiful - gorgeous fauna! There are 5 pools here, ranging from very warm to downright hot!! My favorite was at the top of the waterfall where the cool misters were... more
