We went here as a last minute thing and were so glad we did. It is very moving to see the people going down the aisle on their knees, with beautiful music playing in the church. This church is gorgeous. Even if you are not Catholic it is worth a visit. Tourists are welcome but be considerate...it is a church. A highly revered and wonderful church smack dab in the middle of town. It's very close to the ruins, and is certainly within walking distance. I was there during christmas so the church was brimming with people. It was especially beautiful at night with all the christmas lights adorning the sides. More
