The zip-line was fun but what I didn't expect was how stunning the views would be (both from the trails and from the lines). I did not find it scary -- just gorgeous.

The canopy tour with horse back ride down was amazing. 11 ziplines took you over the most amazing scenery. A must do and really not too scary.

If you want to zipline once in your life just to try it, it should be here. Gives you a nice adrenaline rush without much actual risk. The guides were very helpful -- one went tandem with our two kids (ages 10 and 8) while the other shot a video with our camera on one of the more scenic lines....

The braver members of the family ( ie not mum!) had a great morning ziplining at Mundo Adventura. The staff were great and everything felt very safe. One very long line and the chance to cross waterfalls on others. Good Fun!

On our business trip to Costa Rica, we allowed ourselves one "vacation" diversion, and we picked a trip on the canopy zip lines with Arenal Mundo Aventura outside of La Fortuna. And how fortuna that this was our choice! (groan) We were picked up right on time from our nearby B&B and driven (safely) to our outing. We made our...

Leaves and Lizards recommended Arenal Mundo Aventura.
We had a good lunch before taking the 1:30 tour. We drove up from San Jose that morning, so this was a good way to break up the trip to our hotel.
The guides are very engaging and our teenagers had fun on the tour. There are spectacular views of the countryside and...

Went with 8 and 9 yr old kids. Guides were amazing with the kids and went tandem with my very nervous 9 yr old. Amazing views and experience. Could have done without the "Indian Village" at the end.

My family of 5, (18 and 16 year-old boys, 8 year-old daughter) had a blast zip-lining for our first time at Mundo Aventura, and highly recommend taking a half day to experience the thrills and beautiful surroundings. We did not rappel, ride the horses, or go to the waterfall. It appears that the negative comments and reviews for the most...

We booked this tour through Wave Expeditions (Vannesa was very helpful). There are 11 zip lines, the first ones are what they call beginner, but still fun, there’s one really long one with a breath-taking view of the Arenal waterfall. We had two teenagers along, they loved it too. It’s fun for the whole family. There were younger kids in...
