I took my 14yo son with me to try waterfall rappelling for the first time. We started by enjoying a very nice cosada lunch there with rice, beans, tortilla and chicken plus juice and water. They have wifi in case you need it while you wait to leave. The bathrooms there are very nice with plenty of room to change,shower... More

Took my family on a Costa Rican adventure vacation and this attraction provided our whole group ranging in age from 5 to 70 with the biggest thrill for all of us for the whole vacation. It was terrifying at the beginning to go backwards off a l68 foot ledge but once you went over it was thrilling. My five year... More

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to scale down a waterfall, repel off of cliffs and face your fears. Our group ranged from a 10 year old to a 77 year old, the guides provided enough safety to give everyone confidence yet challenged us to push our limits. In addition, the guides were light-hearted, fun people who made... More

Great company to use for waterfall repelling. Would highly recommend them. They only thing our group felt was a little rushed but it did keep some of us from feeling nervous.

I was really nervous about the experience and wasnt sure how safe it would be. After watching the youtube video of puretrek canyoning my boyfriend convinced me to do it. At the start of the activity the lead guide (jonathan) gave a full safety briefing and explained how the guides at the bottom and top would control if we couldnt.... More

This was the highlight of our trip. Few other places will you find an experience like this. The staff (Alan, Enrique, and everyone else) made this a more than memorable experience. This experience provides you with a really unique way to experience the beauty of the Costa Rican rainforest. Rappelling down 5 waterfalls while hiking through the forest provided us... More

We went rappelling down a 165' waterfall & they pull you over under the fall on the way down!! Then we did a free fall and that was great! And we did three other rappells down shorter slopes & it was all awesome! The guides were great & very helpful!!! Michael & Melvin were great & entertaining also!! Everyone was... More

These people live for this! They were very personable and we never felt unsafe. They were funny and professional. There was Tuns of adrenaline! The monkey drop was scariest for me- but was fine and safe. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Beats zip lining and white water rafting.

Pure Trek Waterfall Repelling was the highlight of my 10 day trip around Costa Rica! Our travel group included my 13 year old girls, 42 year old husband and myself, a 34 year old newbie traveller. We all rated waterfall repelling a one of our favorite adventures. The scenery was breathtaking, from the truck ride at the base of the... More

This review is for the waterfall rappeling. Before booking this trip (with our family of four, including 2 kids ages 5 and 6 yo), I read every TA review. I also contacted the company and the concierge at the hotel to make sure it would be a good kids activity. Everyone assured me it was safe so went went for... More
