My boyfriend and I had a private ride - everyone else cancelled because of the rain. Or guide, Juan Jose, was really fun, friendly, and knowledgable about all of the things and places we saw. He seems passionate about all of the horses and animals. Our horses were very nice and well behaved. They are very small horses, but sure-footed... More

This tour absolutely made my trip to La Fortuna. What an amazing team, and such a professional tour service. The whole booking process, transfers to and from my hotel to this beautiful property was smooth and welcoming. My guide John set the tone with great energy and enthusiasm, his whole persona was infectious, I was pumped! I was lucky enough... More

The title says is all. My horse beefed me so hard. I should have gotten the hint when it farted in my face when I walked behind her. This is not my first time taking a horse tour, this is not my first time a horse has hated me so I don't blame Wilberth Stables... I just blame my bad... More

I booked a riding session for me and my 8 year old daughter. We had never ridden before and did not really know what to expect, but were keen to have a go and see some of the Costa Rican countryside by horseback. We weren't disappointed. As it is low season we were the only two riders on the tour.... More

This ride was local, reasonable, hotel pick-up, and through a beautiful part of rain forest. Rain being the operative word here. Our guide was one of the better naturalists I met on my trip. He pointed out many aspects of the rain forest that I hadn't learned after a week of being surrounded by it. We had a fascinating wonderful... More

Our horses were well behaved but would canter if you wanted them to. Our guide was knowledgeable about the wild life (mainly birds) and the scenery we rode through was spectacular - especially the volcano. This would probably be fine for novices as well as more experienced riders. Two hours was not long enough !

We did a 2 hour ride in the hills around the Arenal volcano. the horses were well behaved and the scenery beautiful. We were a small group of 3 along with the guide. It was a lot of fun even though it poured towards the end and we got soaking wet. the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Although the guide was very nice, the horse spooked and ran into the trees. Being an inexperienced rider, I was unable to control him. He ran into a branch and even though I ducked I got a big scratch on my back which left a scar.

We took the 1.5 hr trip around Arenal area. The horses were very well behaved and the employees were wonderful. Very easy to drive up and get a guided tour without having to take a hotel tour. We drove up and they got the horses ready while we were there. Great ride with Issac as a guide. He pointed out... More
