Wandered around this plCe admiring the beautiful carvings, what a shame they wouldn't fit in my suitcase

Went looking for area crafts, found the usual collection of bad art, and mass produced carvings. Sad part was books that were marked up ten or more percent without even bothering to cover the list price.

I wished I could afford to bring back a bunch of stuff. Especially the furniture. It was definitely worth a stop.

Not into the touristy trinket gifts so this wood artist studio was a great discovery. Easy to find on the way to the LaFotuna waterfalls. Which is a hidden gem in itself.

Great artwork and prices that are better than comparable pieces elsewhere. The reviewer from Lancaster, PA said it best that I wish I had realized it when I was there. The man at the store was very helpful and the atmosphere was inviting. I got a great deal since it was off season.

Instead of a t-shirt or shot glass, stop by here to pick up artwork for a unique souvenir to give to loved ones or keep for yourself.

Beautiful handcrafted wooden sculptures, functional art and jewlery. Being an artist myself I was just floored by the detail and craftmanship that went into all of their pieces. We ended up staying for over an hour looking and talking to one of the artists and even missed part of our hike but it was well worth it. We took home... More

This was the best place to shop on our whole trip. I wish I would have realized it when I was there, I would have bought more souvenirs here. The large carvings are amazing, If you want any of the wood jewelry or housewares this is the place to get it. Very nice shop.

She has a fabulous collection of artwork and jewelry in her store. Nicest shop in La Fortuna and really enjoyed browsing and buying!
