We had a wonderful buffet dinner after a long (and harrowing) trip from the airport. The food was delicious and every meal the rest of the trip was compared to it. Then we soaked in the hot springs. We thought we had gone to heaven. It was wonderful and worth the price! More

A beautiful place that you must either visit for the day or stay at the hotel. It's not cheap, and neither are the drinks or food, but what do you expect at a resort of this type. It is quite a ways from La Fortuna, so I prefer to have a car to leave the resort and get dinner out.... More

It's the Garden of Eaden without the snakes. The water her is HOT from the volcano, no clorine, and lots of it. Stay away from the cheep imitations, get your moneys woth in Tabacon! More

The water is very hot and natural from thermal sources...I think. But the streams and pools and such are all man-made. The landscaping is AMAZING...but again, not wild and natural. We visited Tabocon hot springs several times over the years, and they definitely have raised their prices. It is a beautiful facility, though, and worth the cost if you have never been. More

We checked out the other hot springs in the area and Tabacon is the most well know becuase it really is awesome. Worth the money - just get there and you won't be dissapointed. More

We stayed at the Tabacon Resort. I liked that we had "free" access. We did not try any other springs, so I can't really compare. The grounds were beautiful! More
