This experience was amazing. We rappelled down 4 waterfalls, jumped down a few falls, ziplined and did a hike through the rainforest. The guides were spectacular and entertaining. The rappels are nerve-wracking- you definitely need to put your trust in the guide! We were lucky and had a small group with 2 guides and a cameraman. We brought a waterproof... More

My husband and myself did an afternoon tour on 1/20/16. We booked this tour along with the hanging bridges morning tour together right through Mistico which worked out very well. I would definitely recommend booking through Mistico directly. This was our fist time Canyoneering and it was a blast, we loved it! We were the only ones booked for the... More

We were in a small group of 4 and there were 5 guides with us. They all were great and played their own role. We went in with no expectations and we'd never done anything like this before. At the end of of our trip we all agreed it was one of our favorite highlights. We're all mid-aged and healthy... More

Hands down this was my favorite adventure on my trip to Costa Rica! It is exhilarating and great fun. The guides go above and beyond to make sure you feel safe and have a great time. I was with 2 girlfriends and it our first time to do waterfall rappelling. It is a little intimidating at the first fall but... More

This was me and my husband's favorite tour while we were in CR (we visited MA and La Fortuna). It has a little bit of everything but more towards the repelling side. They picked us up from our hotel (about 20 minutes late, but i think it was the other travelers that held them up, no biggie to us) and... More

My wife and I participated in a 7:15am canyoning tour run by La Roca in December 2015. This was my favorite activity during our 3 days in Arenal / La Fortuna. One of their instructors was the Costa Rican Tarzan -- he was incredible and took very good care of us. Canyoning itself is a little intimidating, but after repelling... More

We went on the canyoning tour today at 7am. The guide pick us up. We were so lucky and were only three people in the group. There were three tour guides (Jason, younger Jason and Miguel) and all of them were so nice and motivating. I have done canyoning before and really wanted to do it again. I don't regret... More

My husband and I went on a canyoneering tour with La Roca that was set up through our tour company, and I'm so very glad we did. The guides were some of the nicest, most fun, down-to-earth and best that we had during our seven-day trip to Costa Rica. We went with a small group (just my husband and me... More

Once our large enough group have booked this adventure we didn't know what does it mean this rappelling and canyoneering in the real life. But at the finish line we find out that this is what we needed and really wanted - jumping with ropes into deep canyons and from small waterfalls. Such a great fun to do it either... More
