We arrived early and were the only ones at the falls - pretty special setting at that time of the day. Great place to swim.

I have to give my advisories first. One, if your map looks anything like the one attached, the location of the waterfall is ALL wrong. The turn off is WAY before rio burro, it's right after rio Havana or fortuna. It may even be then only river you cross after exiting the main town. It shouldn't be more than 5...

the horseback ride was crazy amazing. You ride on trails that you never thought you would ride on and then you hike to the waterfall to go swimming. Incredible! Would love to do it again!!
Swimming near the waterfall is an unforgettable experience. The view is also amazing, just like in movie. Wish we brought our watershoes as we had to walk on rocks to get there. Had to go through 375 steps to see the waterfall. Well worth it!
it's a steep 'stairway' down, and can e a gut check limbing the stairs back up. Well worth the effort to swim and bask in the sun around the plunge pool - worth getting on a Bucket List.

Nice swimming hole too.
It is a beautiful scenery, but It was hard to go down to the water and steps are very steep. I would recommend it to people that have not problems climbing or walking.
