We visited the Arenal region of Costa Rica in mid-July. Taking a Night Hike was on our "To Do" list because so much of the wildlife is noctural. We were escorted by Geraldo who was very welcoming and above all knowledgeable. At first we couldn't really see anything unless the tour guide pointed it out. Soon our eyes adjusted and... More

Our guide Gerard was so excited every time he found something to show us. And he was so knowledgeable. He showed us cool spiders and webs, and eyelash pit vipers, some bioluminescent plants and bugs as we headed toward the frog pond. It was so interesting to hear about the plants and butterflies of Costa Rica. The frog calls he... More

I was very happy with this tour and our guide! My 5 year old wanted to see the infamous frogs and I booked this tour. The guide was very quick in engaging my son and put him on a hunt to find animals. What a great surprise when 5 minutes into the walk my son spotted a Bull Frog! The... More
