Not really hot springs but more like resort pools. Every pool was very crowded and not really clean. Also, you were at the base of the volcano but it was nothing impressive.

We stayed at Los Lagos Hot Springs last August (rainy season). We thoroughly enjoyed this resort and would definitely return again. We are a family of 4 with two girls (ages 8, 11). We wanted to take the girls to the rain forest/volcano area because we had spent so much time at the beach. This is a fantastic place to... More

We went to use the hot springs from 5:30 pm to 8 pm and it was perfect. We did not stay for dinner but enjoyed the various hot pools and had a drink at the poolside bar. The kids (15,13, 10) loved it, including the water slide. It was not crowded and was very relaxing. A perfect choice for us... More

Stayed in this beautiful resort for 3 nights. Breakfast was served…it was okay. Dinner menu--not buffet--was delicious. Rooms were pleasant enough. Weather was sunny and rainy. Hot springs were great since I'm always cold. We didn't even know there was another restaurant on the premises. The bar needed something, like people, to liven it up. Overall, the place is beautiful.

Los Lagos is a nice place to get away from traditional tours and just relax. Their variety of hot and cold pools allows for water play or water relaxing!

Hot and cold pools and fast water slides... My 10yr old and 5yr old daughters, wife and I had a great time and loved the pools and slides. We paid 27 for all day access and buffet. The buffet was a bit of a dissapointment, not horrible, but not exactly tasty. Food selection was limited. That aside we had a... More

My husband and I spent an afternoon at this beautiful hot springs resort. The landscaping is lovelt, with lots of tropical flowers, waterfalls, and pools. The paths meander around the spacious grounds. Some of the pools of hot water are large, could hold dozens of people. Others are small, hidden private. My favorite had a little waterfall of hot water;... More

This was just the right mix of activities to keep the whole family happy: if your children are old enough to enjoy water slides on their own, you can relax in the pool with warm water and still be able to monitor what your offspring is up to! The landscaping is very well done. There are also pavilions with animals... More

I love Los Lagos hot springs. They are reasonably priced, have hot and cold pools as well as smaller pools for privacy. The slides are a lot of fun and safe (in comparison to some other places in Fortuna!) and the bar and the food are also good. This is one of the places I really like taking people!

The hot springs were so-so.I would not pay for the experience. We stayed at the hotel so the pools were included. There were many pools and it looked like it mostly catered to families with children.
