Beautiful frogs and many other creatures to see at night. Did day and night tour with Gabriel as he is very knowledgable and dedicated to understanding nature. Am a science teacher so may have been more easily interested but believe could be intriguing to many backgrounds of tourists.

You get your own tour guide which is great as you see and learns much more. The park has lots of frogs and snakes, plus some crocs and turtles and it probably takes 90mi s to go round. So very enjoyable but just seemed a bit expensive for quite a small park at about $30/adult. Was next to our hotel... More

We saw so much wildlife on our tour at the Arenal Nature Park: snakes, frogs, birds, monkeys, sloths. Our guide spoke English well and really knew how to find the flora and fauna of interest and was very knowledgable about it all.The hike into the park was easy, kids could do it and the climb up the rocks was not... My mother and son went to the park while the rest of the family went rappelling. My mother and ten year old son were extremely impressed with the park. Great service, knowledgeable staff as well! My son is still talking about his experience.

we took the night time tour, which was $174 for five of us, which struck me as expensive. The tour began slow, and our teenagers were getting antsy -- so if you are traveling with people who are not really nature lovers, be warned. The last 30 minutes were fantastic, as we say lots of frogs, including the beautiful red-... More

It was $90 for 3 of us to get in, which I thought was a bit expensive given the length of the tour (less than an hour). But our tour guide, Brandon Cruz, was very knowledgable and entertaining.

I booked this walk at the last minute through the Nayara Springs resort, which is just up the road. So happy I did! Got the best wildlife shots of my life. We had 2 guides for a group of 5 guests--one guide was trained in biology and the other was a professional wildlife photographer. I'm a former neotropical biologist, and... More

We visited Arenal Natura Eco Park in July 2015 and my impression is that this place will be fantastic in bout 5 years. The place seems to be undergoing significant construction. The main building is beautiful, but the entrance area leading up to the building looks unfinished. The trails were very basic and the aromatic garden needed to be weeded.... More

It's a nice place to visit. The tour is a bit long, but you will see a LOT of frog and snake. The guide give you a lot of information.
