Went on a Sunday night with my husband and 12 year old daughter in early November starting at 5pm and booked dinner as well. The front desk was helpful and very nice, towels were provided as well as a shower area and changing room. The hot springs weren't as hot as I anticipated and there were a lot of families... More

Lovely trip to the springs. There are 4 pools of varying temperatures in idyllic surroundings. Drink prices at the bar are very reasonable. It wasn't at all crowded. Towels and a locker are provided free of charge. We ate in the restaurant which was a choice of beef, chicken, fish or veggie served with rice, beans, tortillas and salad. All... More

they were not many people this day, so we could stay as long as we wanted. the pina colada at the bar was excellent and for 6dollars it's a really good price. but overall we were not satisified about this place. the atmosphere is not very comfortable and it's not very clean. but the place is beautiful! unfortunately they had... Eco is beautiful place specially at night. $6.50 for drink which are very good. Night from 5pm-9pm u can get a dinner thats average but nice to get a brake from the hot water. Also it's cooler at night. If u have kids it won't work out at night cause it's mostly couples, so I suggest daytime to go.

There are many ways to enjoy this hot spring. A few hours may be all you need to get relaxed and head to your hotel for a rest. One of the truly natural springs in the area from volcanic origin. Different pools with varied temperatures. Couples should try to go when the tour buses aren't there. Families try to claim... More

As a group of six adults, we chose Ecotermales as we read that it was more intimate as it limits the amount of people that can enter during each time slot. Although smaller than other hot spring spas, Ecotermales offers several pools of varying temperature tucked nicely in the natural Costa Rican environment. The facilities include lockers and towels as... More

An uncrowded experience of the local hot springs. Fewer pools than Baldi but why would you need more? ...good bar service (the pina coladas were exceptional) and the change rooms, grounds and pools are very clean. Perhaps the addition of spa services would be welcomed but it is quite acceptable as is.

When you come into Ecotermales, you feel as if you come into an enchanting World! It is beautiful and well cared, but specially is IN the rainforest, the sounds and the feeling! It is comfortable, clean, nice... But at the same time has a wilderness flavor to it! Totally recommend it for nyone, but specially for honeymoons or romantic getaways!

Thanks for your review. I know, I never get over the feel of driving up the long private entrance covered in trees, and the magical sensation of just driving up; then that magic continues throughout the whole place...can´t think of a more romantic place for honeymooners or lovebirds in Arenal than here at EcoTermales. Glad you had the opportunity to... More
