Right beside a downtown park. They were having mass on Friday evening, so we only got to peek in the doors, but it was beautiful from what we saw. We did not tour due to the mass.
Certainly worth seeing.

Interesting style that I believe is typical of a number of churches in Costa Rica. It doesn't match up to the splendid monuments in Europe, but it is definite;y worth looking at if you are nearby.

Alajuela city is a small place where a lot of commerce go on daily... people walking, cars everywhere, stores, etc.
But in the heart of this town, there is this beautiful Cathedral. I'm not the religeous kind of person but I can tell you I just love visiting this architecture piece of art... the entrance is quite nice with two...
