Manuel and his team at Costa Rica Extreme are some of the most talented and friendly river guides you will ever meet. I recently took a group of 17 high school students on a Spanish immersion trip and we were lucky enough to the two day trip on the Pacuare River. The rafting itself is exciting and rough, just like... More

We have done many trips with Manuel and Costa Rica Extreme Rafting on the Pacuare River. Manuel and his crew compete in World Rafting Competitions, so even though he will take you on a level 3 or 4 rapid, no fear- just lots of fun because you are in the hands of a master rafter. We have done the day... More

I did a three-day rafting trip with this company. The first day we rafted down to the camp, the second day we did a hike to a small indigenous community and spent the night at the camp again, and the third day we rafted down the river to where they picked us up. These guys were so fun during the... More

Book your rafting trip with Manuel & Costa Rica Extreme. Do the two day trip. The camp set up above the river is amazing. Great washroom facilities, amazing food, the sleeping huts/tents are very comfortable. Ladies, you should be more than comfortable. The camp is set up that you feel like you are really camping, but not have to worry... More

As part of Bike Arenal's 8 Day Multi Sport Adventure Trip, we were lucky enough to participate in white water rafting with Costa Rica Extreme ... it was the highlight of our trip! This excursion was a one day river rafting trip on the Pacuare River with a stop for lunch at their beautiful camp. The rafting excursion was extremely... More

What a great guide and customer service. Very flexible and easy to talk to. They have many years of experience in their careers and it definitely showed while we were exploring the different cities throughout the country.

Very flexible and accomodating. The guides & drivers seem to always have our best interest in mind. We went to Volcano Poas with Randall & he was amazing! He knew lots of fun trivia facts & had the driver stop along the way at very discreet but amazing scenic spots no one else would notice. He also is great about... More

When I go on vacation, I really do not enjoy trying to figure out locations and things to do, I feel this takes away from my vacation. Of course, when I sign up for a tourism service, I do have high expectations, and Extreme Costa Rica Tours met all of my expectations. The tour guide was knowledgeable, professional, and provided... Our group was large, 4 adults, 2 seniors and 4 late teens. Randall Goyenaga was an excellent tour guide. He and his driver took us from San Jose to Playa Samara in a comfortable tour bus that seated 18? Randall speaks excellent English, is very polite, professional and knowledgeable about his country. Our trip was 4 hours long and we... More
