We visited this attraction after hearing good things from others and we really enjoyed it. It is very interesting and worth the time . Being a dog lover I was impressed by the way people remembered their beloved pets. It is unique and one of a kind! Very well worth a visit. The kids loved it too.

Something interesting to see if you are in the area. Needs WAY more signage to assure you that you are going the correct way. It's located off main road out in the booneys so to speak. The cemetery is one of a kind. It's something to say that you have seen.

It is exactly what it says it is . . . a cemetery for prize coon dogs. It is "out in the middle of nowhere" but why not stop and pay your respects to man's best friend at the world's only coon dog cemetery? It is a few miles passed The Alabama Music Hall of Fame and the Rattle Snake... More

You really have to want to see this unique and interesting attraction to make the trip. It is way out in the country on windy and hilly roads. Plus the day we went they had recently tarred and chipped the road so the rocks were banging against the underside of our car all the way there and back. It is... More

I had never seen anything like this. There was money all over the tombstones, don't know the meaning of that. I took my out of town nephew, 10, there to tell his class in Utah about it.

I wanted to come here for the uniqueness of the experience and I'm glad I did. It's a beautifully tended cemetery in a peaceful, lovely location. I suggest you wear practical shoes and bring a can of OFF.

It takes awhile to get to the cemetery because it is out in the boonies, but it was worth the trip. My boyfriend and I both choked up a little seeing Sam's tombstone - he has a couple of his stuffed animals there with him. It was interesting seeing what their owners wrote about them and you could tell how... More

Grew up 10 miles from it and have been there multiple times. If you're into hunting with dogs it's neat to see. Because of its remote location it is the target of vandalism and trash dumpers sometimes. Good little site with a beautiful drive to get there in the fall.

If you truly love dogs, you will be touched by this small cemetery that is exclusively for coon dogs. The headstones span the gamut from handmade and primitive to elaborate, but all are touching. It is way out in the country; plan on driving about 16 miles on pretty country roads.
