It was a great experience to see the manufacturing of Mercedes Benz Cars. The Museum is very nice, too, with many explanations. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It was difficult to make a reservaton.

Nice little museum. There are classic and race cars. Interesting displays about some of the safety technology in Mercedes vehicles.

Since we purchased a Mercedes last year, we thought it would be interesting to tour the factory where our car was produced, so we planned the four-hour drive. The visitor center had some interesting Mercedes-Benz models on display and a small gift shop for guests while waiting for the tour to begin. We were transported to Plant 1 in a... More

If you like cars, have a few hours to kill and are in-between Birmingham and Tuscaloosa, this is the place for you! The tour was long but interesting. Didn't know so many students from Univ of Alabama did co-op's here! Really neat to get hands on experience!

We went hoping to take a tour of the factory only to learn they have limited dates/times for tours. We spent about an hour going through the "museum" which has about 10 historic cars and several of the latest models.

Went to visit the plant on a trip with the MSU business students and had a great time. The facility and staff are top class. It was very educational to see how the business runs and learn about how the processes they follow.

A van load of folks from Guntersville, AL arrived at the factory and were divided into two groups. One visited the museum while the other toured the factory. I was more impressed with the tour than the museum. It was interesting to see the SUVs assembled. The route was well marked and the guide was knowledgable and friendly. The tour... More

This is a very nice manufacturing plant and would be interesting to everyone who is old enough to understand what is happening. Very clean plant and it is amazing to see modern manufacturing happening. Just make sure that they will be running production and the visitors center is open before you visit.
