I have been to Bellingrath Gardens many times. The Gardens are beautiful, and many ancient varieties of camellias and azaleas adorn the paths. I go to Bellingrath every time I am in Mobile. more

We visited the garden and home on March 22, 2009. The garden was really nice to walk thru. We also went on the river boat. I recommend that you go early and get a seat on the top, which was full when we arrived. However, we were able to stand at the stern of the boat and enjoy the nice... more

I visited this attraction right after Christmas. The tour guide was very informative and knowledgeable. The house was nicely furnished and I enjoyed seeing the rooms. The gardens themselves were not in bloom. There was a nice peaceful pavillion on the lake that you could sit and watch pelicans. The Magic of Christmas Light Show was what made it special.... more

Outside of the weather - the absolute best choice in Alabama for beauty, lights, and pure fun. Not a theme park - it is an estste decked out for the season. During the spring - there is no place as beautiful as the Bellingrah and its azaleas. A mite hard to find - but who cares - a true alabama... more

We went to see the Magic Christmas in Lights this past Saturday and it was gorgeous. We had our 2 year old who loved it and 2 teens along that loved it as well. It truly is a great treat for the family. It is a lot of walking but we saw plenty of people in wheel chairs and they... more

We have been to Bellingrath Gardens and Home several times. I think the most wonderful time is during the mum season which is winding down by Thanksgiving. If you go during the late afternoon you can experience the beauty of the mums and as the sun goes down you can enjoy the Christmas lights. The place is beautiful and peaceful... more

My husband and I are Christmas light "junkies" so we drive the 2+ hours every year to see the lights at Bellingrath during the Christmas season. Make sure to arrive early, like around 3:30pm and get tickets to take the home tour as well. By the time you get done with the house, it's dark outside and the lights are... more

I have to say that growing up in the Mobile area I am quite biased. The Bellingrath Gardens and Home offer beautiful views all year long. Whether it is in the spring with breath taking azaleas or at Christmas for the lights you can't go wrong. The Christmas lights are a tradition for my family. My three year old loves... more

Great place to visit and amazing at how someone could have planned all the beautiful landscaping. They have a "swamp" area that is really interesting. more
