An annual pilgrimage.

Azaleas at their peak now. The grounds are immaculately kept. For less than the price of a movie matinee 2 or 3 hours of top drawer escape into a tranquil Eden.

The gardens cover a large territory and each turn of the well-maintained and level paths brings a new vista. Even in March, there were some blooming plants and shrubbery was well maintained. Lots of blooms in the greenhouse. We arrived in time for lunch and had a good meal in the cafe. If you have mobility problems, please note that... More

Even though early March is probably not the best time to visit, we thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the house and gardens. The gardens are extensive and the house was interesting and very intelligently designed. The guide for the house was well-informed and enthusiastic.

I love gardens and was excited to read about this one. Now I know this is not the time to expect the height of color in gardens but wanted to see the grounds, the garden layouts and the home along the Fowl River. It was also a spectacular day for a walk in nature. I was not disappointed. We watched... More

The only reason I didn't rate this garden excellent was that we visited it in March, flowers are just beginning to show themselves. I'd love to see it later this April and in the Summer. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, and the tour of Mr. and Mrs Bellingrath's home is so worth seeing. I'd highly recommend this to anyone as... More

The gardens and grounds were amazingly peaceful and serene. I wanted to live there and stroll the property daily. The day was beautiful and the azaleas were just starting to bloom. It was in the mid 70's and very pleasant. I can imagine how hot it can be in the summer as some paths have no shade. Also I wonder... More

This place is absolutely amazing and worth the $20 plus dollars to view the grounds and a tour of the Belligrath home. The home tour is especially interesting with many unique items displayed such as a ceramic collection from many European countries. Other items were purchased abroad. The history of the Belligrath family as a founding partner in the Coca-Cola... More

Bellingrath Gardens and Home is an amazingly enchanting graceful garden. We were so blessed to enjoy the garden this past Saturday from 1 pm - 4 pm, during a time when the garden was so peaceful. The gardens have an amazing ambiance, a earthly honest feel, a graceful garden. Our family went and my little girl and I enjoyed a... More

We walked all over this property and it is lovely. Highly recommend. We were there in the winter so nothing was blooming, but it was still pretty!

Although we had researched this facility before visiting, my wife and I were pleasantly surprised by the quality and variation in the gardens. The grounds are very well kept, and the flowers are changed regularly with the seasons. We enjoyed the house tour and getting to know more about the Bellingraths' marriage and their positive impact on people and this... More
