Amazing view!

We stopped by after Ultra Violet and enjoyed the crowd. Nice drink selection and music. Private tables for bottle service. Great crowd for people watching.

Absolutely overpriced bar. The views are good but that's about it. The pants you can buy to suit the dresscode are ridiculously expensive.

Had a great time with my friend at Bar Rouge. We hit it on a Friday night after dinner at Hakkasan downstairs. Got in around 10 and virtually empty so we were able to stake out a good spot. By 11:30 it was jammed. Bar service was very quick. Nice private table service available. Outside views can't be beat. It... More

We were taken to Bar Rouge one evening and it was amazing, located on the roof top with brilliant views over the Bund all lit up for the night. Part of the floor is covered by sand which was unusual. Staff were welcoming and friendly, food and drinks were great and we thought it was a great bar and highly... More

This bar could be in South Miami Beach, same atmosphere, vibe and music. Fantastic roof top bar with sweeping views of the Bund. Nice spot on a nice evening to enjoy a cocktail, listen to Latin music and do some dancing.

Maybe one of the best place to go out in Shanghai! Party all night long and amazing view over Pudong. Why asking for more? :)

We were at Bar Rouge on Halloween (Oct 31) and had a lot of fun. The rooftop offers some great views of the city.

Bar Rouge is claimed to be the must visit to experience Shanghai nightlife and rightly so... The entry is priced at around 100 RMB... The drinks are a bit on the steeper side with a beer priced between 60 to 70 RMB... The view of the Bund is excellent... I liked the way that the awesome music system was loud... More

Staying in The Bund

Neighborhood Profile
The Bund
While there are certainly many other “bunds” in the world, “the Bund” refers to Shanghai’s famous waterfront. The area’s Gothic, Art Deco and Beaux Arts monoliths were built when it was part of the Shanghai International Settlement run by the British and Americans. The atmosphere of colonial-era luxury has endured over time and is now found in the five-star hotels, luxury brand boutiques and expensive restaurants that can be found within the historic buildings. A cultural center has built up away from the water and some of Shanghai’s best art galleries and museums are housed close to the Bund. Nighttime views of Pudong and the rest of the city also make for a great backdrop at the many rooftop clubs.
