Lovely little garden in the middle of Shanghai, peaceful place to sit and chill in the bustling surroundings outside. No entry fee and it doesn't take long to just walk around. There is a small bar that gets very busy, but you can just get drinks there.

There are not many public parks in Shanghai but this one although small has its attractions. As a business visitor I like this park as it is nestled in amongst shopping centers and hotels. Jing'an park is only small, however it is beautifully kept and maintained. The flowers are beautiful, the walkways are clean and wide and the pond is very pretty. Just go there when you are tired of sightseeing or shopping. Sit by the lake and just relax or have your favorite beverage or lunch at the Bali restaurant in the park. We saw many people bring their lunch and sitting on a bench. If I worked nearby I would do the same.

Tucked away behind shops and office blocks, but right opposite the Jing'an Temple complex, this is a lovely little park. As with so many other places in China, they seem to pack a lot into a small space. I have lived in Shanghai 2 years but didn't get to this park until my last week in Shanghai! It was so peaceful and beautiful.
