When I think of Shanghai, I think of The Bund on the Pu-Xi side looking across at the Disney'esque future world of Pu-Dong. This was the first spot that I hit when I arrived in Shanghai and have to say the view lived up to my expectations and left me in awe. The view is almost surreal and personally, I... more

I just returned from a business trip to shanghai and could say that in overall I was quite surpirsed with the expereince. The most famous and attractive sight could be regarded as the Bund also knon as the Zhongshan Road. It starts from the Baidu Bridge, which is at the connecting point of the Huangpu River and the Suzhou Creek,... more

Bring a camera: day or night you will capture a magical shot. This is also the area where you can... more

When you get on the boat, make sure you stay at the open air deck - doesn't matter where you sit coz the boat turns around anyway and you'll get to see both sides of the river. The buildings here are spectacular - European looking. And it's nicer to... more

The Bund is something that you must visit on your trip to Shanghai, however, I was somewhat dissapointed at the volume and aggressiveness of the beggars. As soon as my taxi came to a halt it was surrounded by people wanting to sell me a watch or asking for money. One guy actually followed me down the street trying to... more
