Emmy showed me parts of old Shanghai that I would have never found by myself. She knows all the lane ways, and colourful places. she is a great photographer herself, so she knows what to look for. As well, she knows some great places to eat "street food". It was a great morning with Emmy. More

My daughter and I recently took a walking tour (The Bund, Suzchou Creek and beyond). It was outstanding!!!! Highly recommend using this company. Our guide, Elke, was so kind, patient and knowledgeable. She was kind enough to take the ferry with us to get us situated on the Pudong side. She was really something else!!!!! Mary-Jo and Lindsay V. The guide never showed up. We wasted our morning. They later sent us a sloppy email suggesting it was our fault. Don't waste your time, they are totally unreliable. They are also over priced for what they are offering. More

With every booking confirmation, our guests receive a very clear route description to the meeting point, both in English as in Chinese. This meeting point always is a very well know spot in the city that concierges and taxi drivers will know, in this case it was the Starbucks in Xintiandi. Also, the mobile numbers of both the guide as... More

I have just returned from doing an amazing noodle tour around the old town. Elke, my guide was knowledgeable and really planned the tour around my interests. I've been to Shanghai a number of times, seen all the tourist spots but this tour took me to the 'heart and soul' of Shanghai. I wanted to see the foodie spots and... More

Do this tour early in your Shanghai stay to avoid tourist traps! Noodle Tour guide had my head in a spin. One minute we are dodging Shanghai traffic and the next transported back in time wandering through a peaceful lilong. A truly memorable tour. 3 hour walking trip in the rain zooshed past very quickly and enjoyably. Glad I had... More

I've been on the walking tour that starts at The Bund and goes to Suzhou Creek and I liked it very much. We've got a lot of information about the neighbourhood, the English Consession, seen beautiful buildings and a lot of how the local people live. I learnt a lot and have made many pictures. Thank you Tahlita for showing... More

My husband and I recently visited Shanghai fro the second time - but with 14 years in-between! When we visited in 1997 we were traveling independently and the visit was hard work - leaving not much time to just enjoy the places we had seen. We were eager this time to explore the city again and discover more about the... More

After reading the fantastic reviews, I decided to also try this tour. I love to learn about other cultures, and going on regular touristy tours just wouldn't do it for me. Noodle walking tours was worth every penny. I saw things that I know for sure I wouldn't see by myself or in a big tour group. My tour guide... More

The Noodle tour guides are enthusiastic and professional. For us as an older European couple, it was surprising to see how these Western ladies, the guides, (so at ease and with a lot of knowledge on dayly CHinese life), can find their way in this immense city. No stress, no worries, the guides just bring you to amazing, hidden places.... More
