Really, reallllllllyyyyy good. In places there are some really surprising and very entertaining, amazing stunts and acts, as good as, if not better than cirque du soleil. However, cirque du soleil has lots and lots of different things all happening at the same time, ERA builds up to individual acts as highlights so its all ups and averages.

Absolutely amazing show. Public is very close to the artists. I now better understand where "cirque du soleil" got their inspiration.

The show is phenomenal! Leave yourself lots and lots of time to arrive, especially if traveling on a rainy day, as we were, as you need to go during rush hour. No place for a meal nearby, so eat early, and leave a lot of time for retrieving your ticket. We missed the first 10 minutes, because we didn't follow... More

I bought tickets to the show not knowing what to expect. I've heard about the motorcycle stunt and decided I needed to see it for myself. The show started off a bit slow but it quickly picked up it's pace offering one act after another that never ceased to amaze the audience. The show offered a mixture of traditional chinese... More

We went there with 2 kids, 9 and 11, we all appreciate the performance that is absoulutely outstanding compare with any similar in western countries. Acrobats always touch their limits and perform above your expectations. We recommend it to anyone passing by Shanghai.

My husband & I thoroughly enjoyed the show. The acrobatics were amazing and so much more than the price you pay. There was a variety of exciting performances with live music accompanying each act. The show runs daily, starting at 7.30pm and finished at 9.10pm with a 10 minute intermission. There is no photography permitted during the show but, there... More

I didn't know what to expect and at the end we like it. Somehow similar to some part of Cirque du Soleil (live music, some acrobat) with some huge surprise like motorcycle running in the sphere. Worth to see it

Please note: this is the same attraction as 'Shanghai Circus World'. Myself, a friend and our tour guest took the Metro to the Shanghai Circus World Metro station. ERA is described as a 'love story'. We each purchased an RMB 300 ticket, which provided a view of the 'side' of the show. The RMB 200 tickets give a rear view... More

Excellent traditional chinese acrobatics, but with a great light show and live music, similar to "Cirque du Soleil" (but much less expensive). And the amazing final show with motorbikes!
