Never have I experienced a more detailed and complete trip as TDT. As I was very interested in China mainland, the culture, food, cities, rural areas and all good and ugly it has to offer, the tour shows a great and varied deal of this unique country. Definitely worth the trip and an experience I never would have missed.

My wife (teacher) and I were part of a school trip for 44 boys. We travelled to and saw all the main sights in Northern China - Beijing (forbidden city, Mao mausoleum, Temple of Heaven park, Houhai), Xian ( Terracotta warriors, farm trip)and of course, the Great Wall of China. We travelled by coach and overnight trains and also visited... More

(Trip is aimed at the school version of The Dragon Trip) The trip contained nicely all the basics of China. I experienced the culture of the country throughout, and eating out at restaurants everyday allowed me to acquire a better understanding of the lifestyle in much of China. The trip is flexible, and the itinerary is adapted to best suit... More

A relatively new tour company that proved to be very flexible, great value for money and very enjoyable. Any problems encountered in the 11 days were quickly dealt with and the all inclusive nature made the trip stress-free! A fantastic trip with knowledgable and friendly guides! Only fault would be one dodgy hostel but i know they will not be... More

This trip fitted in everything, hiking, cycling, swimming, bamboo rafting, kung fu, great wall, pandas, terrocotta warriors, you name it, we did it. It has been a very hectic 27 days, but to be able to see all these things at the great cost, it has been worth it. Going on a tour is worth while in china, as once... More

My wife and l have been travelling around the world for the last 5 years (started 19th November 2008). We just completed The Dragon Trip '25 day Hong Kong to Hong Kong' tour. People asked what did we do, it is more the case of "what didn't we do, we certainly did more thank any trip we have done so... More

Thank you very much for you review. We’ve taken on feedback you gave us during the feedback sessions in China and are making a number of changes as a result, most importantly perhaps the policy for what happens when a few members of the group are late for a meeting time, so that from now on, this should not affect... I travelled with my sister to China. We were initially going to travel independently without an organised group, however we were quickly advised not to due to the language barrier outside of Shanghai. We found the dragon trip, which gave us a real taste of China. It was a backpackers tour with full of enjoyable activities including kayaking, cycling, hiking,... More

I had the most amazing month in China. This trip travelling Hong Kong-Yangshuo-Chengdu-Xian-Shaolin-Beijing-Hangzhou-Shanghai-Moganshan-Fujian-Xiamen-Macau-Hong Kong is a spectacular trip that covers a vast scope of China. You have the chance to visit 12 UNESCO World Heritage Sites on this trip, including the Great Wall, Terracotta warriors, Forbidden city and Fujian Tulou. The accommodation on this trip is sometimes poor but overall,... More

I was a bit hesitant about visiting China because I was worried about getting out of my depth (I only speak a few words of Chinese) and traditional luxury guided tours are a bit out of my price range. Thankfully I found Dragon Trip which enabled me to see the famous sites, visit my friends in different cities and have... More
