We were unable to make the set day for the Dumplings tour so we asked if they could put a special tour on the next day...No problem they said. While on the Dumpling tour we asked if they could fit us into the Street Eats Night Market food tour...No problem they said. What a great experience!!! Both tours were different,... More

We knew we wanted it. But we were concerned about eating street food that our stomachs might not appreciate. Solution? Book a tour with the experts: UnTour Shanghai. From the ease of booking a private tour for a small group of 8 via email, to the final morsel of our egg custards at Lillian's, the morning Street Food tour with... More

My son sent me a review of the "Oodles of Noodlles" tour in Shanghai. The experience was such a lot of fun that my only regret is the lack of time to do another one of their tours. From the beginning with their prompt response to my request for a tour date not listed on their schedule to the on... More

It was great to see the real shanghai, taste the local foods, eat where the locals eat, Carla our guide was very knowledgeable about the area and the food. This was also a very 'untouristy' tour. No gift shops, no trappings, Carla made our tour bespoke to our needs, I could not reccommend this untour highly enough!! Do it!!!

We are independent travelers and usually love to explore a new city on our own. Due to our limited time we would have in the city ( 2 days ) and the lack of English speaking locals, we decided on taking the street eats food tour. We would not of found, tasted or of been able to get the skinny... More

I had the joy of attending the noodle tour in Shanghai. It was positively delicious and our tour guide was FANTASTIC. She nice to be shown around the city with a local and have someone else lead the way. The food was incredible, one of my favorite parts of my trip to Shanghai! Don't eat before the tour-- you want... My wife and I are big foodies and it's really important for us to be able to find the "authentic" and the best food that a city has to offer, particularly in Asian countries where outsiders are often shielded from the "good stuff". We attended 3 tours (The Dumpling Tour, the Noodle Tour, and the Breakfast Tour). They were all... More

I had a fabulous time on the Dumplings Tour by UnTour. Our guide was Jamie, who was so knowledgable and fun. The walking tour covered 6 different stops ranging from street side dumplings to a high class restaurant. The food itself...was...to die for! There are so many places to try dumplings in shanghai it's hard to know where to begin.... More

As a food blogger and seasoned traveler I usually prefer to explore on my own. I'm glad I didn't make that mistake in Shanghai. I've taken three of Kyle and Jamie's tours - both private and group excursions. Each one made me feel like the insider's insider, with an astounding depth of exploration packed into a manageable walk. Kyle and... More

Our group of 8 joined tour guides Kyle and Hart for a morning of walking and sampling delicious food cooked on or in a shop next to the street. With their capable guidance, we tried all manner of Chinese food we never would have known how to order. We even watched noodles being "pulled" right in front of us and... More
