There are stairs around the harbour and a couple of viewing platforms in various nice spots. It's a bit far out, but if you would like to enjoy some solitude away from the bustle and hustle, this is a nice spot to go.

Yangshan Deepwater Harbour is the biggest container port in the world right now, having bypassed Singapore recently. On the way to the port from Shanghai, you pass over the Donghai Bridge, (length 20.2 miles) , the arrive at a visitors' centre with bathrooms , a model of the port, and a cafe that was closed when I was there.
