This place is not really too far from Shanghai hongqiao area where we stayed at. we took the taxi from our hotel and is around 40mins with moderate traffic and costs 120yuan We reached around 1230pm, bought the tickets priced at 80yuan per person and had a lovely time scrolling in the park. You do get discounts for elderly or... More

First of all, this place is far from everywhere because it is situated on the outskirts of Shanghai and it takes at least 40 mins to travel to Songjiang station from the center and another 15-20 mins from the metro station to the place by cab. The entrance fee is RMB 80. Sometimes (most of the time) there are film... More

There are many ways to get there, take a cab from one of the Songjiang "..." train stations. I had trouble finding the bus stop so cabs would be easier. Be careful of private cabs though, they will usually tell you that public cabs do not travel there. Its okay to give the 'stunt show' a miss, I left after... More

This place is a must see while visiting Shanghai. We went there by taxi. We really got to know how movies are produced. We also got the chance to see a film shooting and another one with lots of Chinese students . It was very interesting to see the fake sceneries and houses. Sometimes, we wandered alone in some of... First of all, you will need good information before you can find it: many busses are running there, but without number and only with Chinese caracters. Ask in your hotel to write the name on a paper to give it to a taxidriver. These film studios are really special: you think you see a house, but it's only the outside... More

Visited here just after Spring Festival with my wife and her parents. Spent the whole day at the film park which is modelled on "lao Shanghai". They have trams, old cars, horse and trap and impressive replicas of Nanjing Road, the former Bund war memorial etc. The day we visited they had a kung-fu performance from some of the extras... More
