This was my first time white water rafting and this was quite an enjoyable experience. The gorge is also part of a conservation area and a portion of your fee goes back to the community that helps maintain it. According to the guides there wasn't a lot of rain when we did it (around March, 2015) and so there weren't... More

The upper navua river is a unique and stunning sight, even if you have seen a lot around the world. The rafting is not hard (in May) and the guides are extraordinary. Very fun, informative and safe. Lunch and snacks are good, it is definitely worth the money. 20% goes to the village and all guides are from the village.... More

Rivers Fiji trip to the Upper Navua River on 4/26/15 was superb. Long ride to site (about 2.5 hrs from pacific harbor), but scenic. Staff was great, river is rather casual, but scenery is quite amazing. Some spots no more than two boats wide with hundreds of feet walls either side, tons of waterfalls, small rapids, some education on the... More

With six of us in our party, including a ten year old, we were so well looked after. The guides not only showed us the gorgeous cabins and waterfalls but shared traditional stories. Thanks to our guides Ben and Moses for a fantastic day.

Such an amazing experience its a must do if your visiting fiji. The guides are very friendly and informative about the rafting and surrounding nature. Words cant explain how breath taking the river is. Just go no more to say. Worth every (fijian dollar)

We were a little unsure at first as the trip is expensive but it was so worth it in the end so much so, that I would happily do it all over again if we had more time in fiji. The ride there is very bumpy, and its a long journey but the trek in the forest is amazing. The... More

There was some apprehension from some our 6 person group. It was expensive, an early start, and sounded a tad dangerous. It was all of that but what a fantastic day, a highlight . As others have mentioned, the scenery the journey, so unique. Don't worry about Moses, yes he is a great scout, and didn't raft with him, but... More

This was an awesome trip with even better scenery. If you don't get to the interior part of the island you are missing a big part. Moses was an awesome guide with a ton of interesting and sometimes funny stories about growing up there and his life as a river guide. It makes for a long day, but totally worth... More

I am a retired river guide and have done many rivers. The Navua river is a gem! The canyon is breathtaking and the waterfalls around every corner are amazing. I tried to count them and lost track at 14 just in the first couple of miles. The guides are fun and knowledgable! They are are locals and have some fantastic... More
