We find all of the Robert Trent Jones golf courses in Alabama to be outstanding courses and this one is no exception. Service was excellent from the cart team to the desk to the marshals on the course. The course is well maintained and in excellent condition. A very scenic course with numerous beautiful aquatic birds. I recommend playing the... More

AMAZING! Two couples drove here to play some golf. A difficult course, but still so much fun. We were in awe of each hole on the Judge side. So many water features, unique lies, and elevated greens. I personally didn't play that well but it didn't keep me from enjoying the course. Certainly worth the $84 to play. Since it... More

Played The Judge, against recommendation of friends because of the views. First tee is a gorgeous view down to the green, plus the river on the right. Only lost seven golf balls in 18 holes, but found 5 more, so net loss of 2! The staff was wonderful in all respects. They even permitted a "freebie" cart for two wives... More

Played this course before overseeing, greens were very fast (12+ stimp) and extremely undulating, to the point of being ridiculous at times. The layout is awesome and requires precision off the tee to have any chance of hitting the right area on the green. Five plus hours.

We played the Senator Course at Capitol Hill today and enjoyed playing a beautiful links course after playing more traditional courses the past few days on the Robert Trent Jones Trail. The Pro Shop was professional and efficient in checking us in and the on-course starter/marshall was welcoming and very helpful! It was a 95+ degree humid day and the... More

Group of 12, played The Judge twice. It's a PGA course, follow advice of staff and play the tees that are handicap recommended. The RTJ trail is exactly what is advertised, great courses at inexpensive prices.

Prattville was recently named the best place to retire for golfers by Money magazine. This is a direct result of Capitol Hill, a signature site on the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail. The trail is open to the public but the facilities and courses are as good as most private clubs. You can stay in Prattville ay the Marriott Legends... More

I played the legislator the first day. Very challenging and scenic course. Great vistas. The next day I played the judge. 14 of the 17 holes are along the water. The center is the third course which is a links course in his a stop for the LPGA tour.

We played the "judge" and "Senator" courses. Both were enjoyable but challenging. As residents in Florida we typically play on flat courses, so the undulating greens were testing. The Judge course was very pretty were as the Senator course was more a links course and more forgiving. Both were in good shape, with the exception of a few greens which... More
