It now housed an art gallery with more than 100 regional artists. Other features of the arts campus are The Hot Shop, Alabama's only public access hot glass studio, and The Clay Studio where you can work with our resident clay artist. Classes are available daily. The beautiful grounds are perfect for weddings and special events. The Art Center is also home for the highly regarded annual fine arts show "Festival of Art" of Orange Beach. « less

Enjoyed the glass blowing and being able to try it myself was a lot of fun. Fun looking around for a fixer upper to buy later on. Safe clean beach.

My daughter and I had a last hurrah trip planned before she left for college. She and I have been to Branson's Silver Dollar City so many times as she was growing up that she knew a lot about glass blowing. This was the one thing she reaaaaly had to do on our vacation. We loved it! The Staff are... More

We took our 12 and 10 year old boys to do the glass-blowing and our 6 year daughter to make a sun catcher. They all loved it! I was so impressed with The Hot Shop overall because it's so clean, neat and safety-minded. Both of our boys chose to make something different so it was exciting to see how their... More

My family and I visited this hidden gem on vacation. Inside is some of the most beautiful paintings and art I've seen. Visiting the hot shop was such fun watching the glass blowing of several items. Didn't realize glass blowing was such serious business. You can pay a fee and try glass blowing yourself and you can paint pottery too.... More

One of the best places for local art you will ever find. A wide variety of styles to suit every taste. One of the only public Hot Shops in the state. How often do you get to see someone blow glass and then give it a try yourself? Pottery? They have a brand new studio. Painting? Come in and take... More

Wonderful place to visit. Some great artwork by local artists and even famous ones that have moved on. The building is located on the back bay and is a beautiful piece of artwork itself. The scenery is beautiful. I can't wait because the art show is March 8-9(I think)--a great time with vendors and artwork and crafts from all of... More

There is so much packed into this one spot. I bring visitors here on a regular basis. You can find very reasonably priced original art and ceramics or glass, or make your own. They have glass blowing and pottery making you can watch; or, take a class. What a great place. They feature area artists and I have found many... More
