It's a great place to see a movie, ride a Ferris wheel or see a concert (and other live music). It has several great places to eat and all kinds of high end boutiques . I enjoyed walking around and seeing the big yachts out back.

You can spend the day browsing the shops and get a quick bite to eat. It's decorated for Christmas and they have carriage rides available too. So many interesting shops to peruse.

We were here a few years ago when The Wharf was first opening and were disappointed that it hasn't seemed to change much. There is a huge Farris Wheel now instead of a zip line and some of the store fronts on the upper level now seem to be occupied. Some upscale stores, two restaurants and Toby Keith's Bar is... More

Nothing spectacular just average shops. We rode the Ferris wheel with all the kids at night and seen the light show on the trees. Still nothing more than average.

Went thinking there would be unique shopping, but struggled to find shops we wanted to walk through. Heard they have an amazing light show, but we were not impressed enough to drive back when it was dark. There was a lot of concerts going on, but we didn't hear about them til the last minute. Used it as a beach... More

First thing about the Wharf is you either have to pay the bridge toll ($3.50) to find it or get lost and wind up there. Location is terrible. The second thing about the Wharf is they do not have a CLUE who would go there: people who have gone to the beach and want to shop. There are fantastic chain... More

Light show was outstanding! There was a concert and firework show. The place can be a little hard to get in and park as well as hard to get back out but everything is in one place! Toby Keith's Bar and Grill is amazing! The number and variety of shops is great! Most shops close early which was disappointing but... More

We went the first week of October to see the Spectra light show and to ride the ferris wheel. Upon arriving, the ferris wheel was open, but nothing else. We rode the ferris wheel, but had to wait around for 15 minutes until the show started with nothing to do. So, if you are heading there in the off season,... More

We went for the Zac Brown Band concert. I bough tickets last minute, so our seats were pretty far away, but we could still see very well. I was pretty surprised at how good our seats were considering the distance. It was a nice venue, but outdoors, so a little hot in June. But it's Alabama. That's to be expected.... More

It's nice to have a place to go to for a change of scene after a long beach weekend (or just staying at the beach is nice too) but my kids wanted to see a movie so we came over to the Wharf during one evening Labor weekend. I enjoyed browsing the shops - some very cute local merchants and... More
