This Alabama Dolphin Tour is brought to you by Dolphins Down Under in...

This Alabama Dolphin Tour is brought to you by Dolphins Down Under in Orange Beach, Alabama. These new custom vessels are of the most stable of boats, and our knowledgeable Captains and crew will guide you and your family on an exciting, informative and educational quest in the smooth pristine waters of the back bays to watch dolphin frolic and play in their natural environment. Minutes away from Gulf Shores, Alabama! Each vessel is equipped with four large glass panels(2.5' x 6.5' each - 65 square ft total) so that you have a chance to view the dolphins if they play and swim beneath the keels of the boats. You will also have the chance to see Osprey Fish Eagles, the Great Blue Heron, and many other wetland creatures and birds in our bay area. The tours last about 1½ hours, and there are marine restroom facilities available, as well as a snack bar and fitted life vests for children and infants. We guarantee that we'll see dolphins on our trips, and when we get the rare chance to see them under the boat, its a real treat!

The dolphins weren't very active the day we visited but the captain took a little extra time finding them along with the help of the southern rose dolphin boat. They worked together to get the dolphins to "surf" in the wake behind/between the 2 boats. This was the most exciting part. Otherwise it was just an enjoyable boat ride. My... More

Advertised as a glass bottom cruise, but there was no glass and nothing could be seen through what was purportedly glass. Saw very few Dolphins looking outside the boat. We were told that the boat would start loading at 3:50 p.m. The boat was completely loaded at 3:50 p.m. and we we're unable to sit together. Altogether, saying this rating... More

So much fun we did the snorkeling and it was a blast and learned how to hold a jellyfish and a sea urchin. Then saw some dolphins on the way back

We paid extra for the snorkeling experience plus additional rent for the snorkeling equipment. . . The first air vest they gave me did not hold air - I asked for a second, got into the water, it did not stay up. I asked for a third vest that would hold air, received a third and ended up only snorkeling... More

It is a shame they market this as a glass bottom boat tour, this is not a glass bottom boat. There are 4 areas on the boat where it looks like they cut a section out of the hull and patched it with plexiglass, but you cant see anything through the glass. We had a full boat on our tour... More

Wish we had seen more dolphins but it was an awesome ride out into the gulf. Captain let folks steer and have pictures behind the wheel. Our daughter found a spot up front and loved every minute of the ride. Back at the docks the captain asked everyone to sing "happy birthday" to her. It was her gift from us... More

Took a ride with about 40 other individuals on one of their boats mid-day, super hot out. Captain Robert and his mate were great guides, super friendly and engaging. I recognized Robert's accent promptly - not Cajun as others suggested, but New Orleans area (confirmed by Robert). The two crew chatted with as many boat riders as were interested, and... More

What a cool experience and a great captain (I think Robert...Cajun guy). Everyone was super nice and accommodating. Guaranteed to see dolphins and they didn't disappoint I think we saw more on our way back in than at the actual site. Great for kids and adults we had them right next to the boat. The captains enthusiasm and great spirit... More

We've ridden with them many times and always had a great time. This year Cpt. Robert and crew were great! We saw more dolphins this trip than in all others combined. Loved going out into the gulf for sightseeing and it was a gorgeous sunset cruise! It's a don't miss in Orange Beach!

Snorkeling was a great experience for my brother, mom and I. I would recommend it to anyone. But I have to say the best part was talking to the insane cajun captain robert. He isn't right in the head but who is!

Thank Michael C
