The Visual Arts are the main feature at this beautiful Museum. The Performing Arts are showcased in a 250 seat state of the art auditorium with excellent acoustics. This Contemporary brick structure looks as if it is floating on the water.. if you can imagine that? A spillway with a waterfall and a spinning wind structure make this place unique... More

Spent a rainy Sunday here recently and it was the perfect day to do so. It was the First Sunday event at the museum, which has a live tour with a docent, who narrates favorite works of art. Doors opened at noon and the tour began promptly at 1pm. It was very informative and made me want to do some... More

Adults: This is a surprising large Art museum with a large variety of different art. I loved all of the rooms and it was great to see local, international, modern and traditional art all in one place. For Families: There is a fantastic interactive room for Children. You can make your own prints, put on wooden masks, touch a variety... More

To be free, this museum is great! It has a beautiful setting on a lake that you can feed fish, turtles, and ducks. The museum itself has many different types of art and even features a fun interactive area for children. Ok, even I had fun going through parts of it! Worth a stop for sure!

This museum houses an excellent collection of American artists in an open, airy setting. The staff shared interesting stories and information about the artwork. If you go, don't miss the collection of blown glass.

I enjoyed this quiet gem of an art museum. Located in a park area, with pools of water surrounding, you can view a few well known artists Hopper, Casal, O' Keefe. I esprcially liked the glassware colletion, stsined glass windows and open spaces that captured outside light into the galleries.

The museum's collection is very eclectic, and visiting shows are interesting. The grounds are meticulously maintained, so it's always nice to visit and view the works.

I guess by now I'm a bit jaded. I've had the fortune to visit some of the great art museums in the US (Metropolitan Museum of Art, Philadelphia Museum of Art, Guggenheim, National Gallery, MOMA, LACMA, Barnes, Art Institute of Chicago, etc.) and in the world (Louvre, National Gallery - London, Tate, Uffizi, Rijksmuseum, Vatican Museums, etc.). This museum has... More
