I don't care for Montgomery but do love this area. Feed the ducks at the lake and enjoy the show! More

The plays and productions are always top notch and acting superb. The Southern Writers Project plays are always my favorite and unique to the Alabama Shakespeare Festival. More

This review may have been best placed in the restaurant guide, had the ASF not taken $48 "up front" in the ticket office booking for the pre-show food that is marked on your billing as non-refundable - perhaps a signal we did not heed. Franchised to the Olive Branch (understand offshoot of Olive Room) the entree was $22 a head... More

I've never been inside to see a play, but me and my fiancé have definitely logged our share of time in the park and grounds. I'm amazed at the size of the place. And especially being in Montgomery Alabama! Very nice, you can feed the ducks (not sure if you're supposed to?) and the trails never seem to end. It's... More

The park and grounds around this place are amazing. And, the actual inside of the theatre--wow. It's like a brief drop into Shakespeare's England. Wish they ran a few more Shakespeare plays for a longer time period. More

In addition to performing work by Shakespheare, they often have contemporary plays there. The park also offers a delightful place for a pic-nic or a wonderful backdrop for photos. More

I attended the festival for the first time back in early February of this year. I watched their production of The 39 Steps. I was not familiar with this play, and was suprised to find it was a comedy. The atmosphere was incredible, and the performers were real professionals. I had one of the best theatre experiences of my life.... More

We have been to several plays, some Shakespeare and some not, and it is always wonderfully done. Truly a special night out and they are very helpful in determining the age appropriateness for children. Even if you don't see a play there, visit the vast grounds and walk the ponds and walking trails. Avoid the trails after 3 as local... More

I love everything about it. Both stages, the difference in experience when in the different theaters and the variety of plays. More
