I took my family to see Mary Poppins on July 25th. The show was very high quality. The actors never missed a beat, and the set was perfect. During intermission, they even served special drinks named for the play ($8 each). We all had a great time (hubby, me, and kids age 6-18). I would definitely recommend this play for... More

We went to see Mary Poppins and took 4 little girls! Was a very delightful show and was absolutely amazed at the performance. First class. Girls loved Mary Poppins going above the audience with her umbrella. Also, we weren't aware but on opening nights they serve desserts and champagne in the lobby. Had a great time with my little girl!

My travel club went to see Mary Poppins in Montgomery at Shakespeare Park. The Park is beautiful and the production was delightful. You can enjoy a walk on the beautiful grounds, visit the museum, and see whatever production is being presented at the time. The theater has good acoustics, plenty of room for the sets, and is kept cool enough... More

Shakespeare grounds are beautiful along with the walking paths, gardens, lake, etc. We have been there many times to see plays and we all love it. We take are 4 grandkids a couple times a year and that is always a big event for them.

Coming all the way from Denver for the theatre, we had the opportunity to see three plays during the theatre's repertory week, and they were amazing! The talented actors that were brought in for these plays and the direction, staging, costumes... ALL of it was just tops! We had a wonderful stay at the Wyndham, nearby, and hope our son... More

Beautiful grounds and buildings but the play (Timon of Athens) was a disapointment. Nice restaurant connected to the theater, though

My boys are 11 and 13 and I am 40 with my Mother being 67. With this wide array of ages, it is difficult to find entertainment for everyone, but the AL Shakespeare Festival was perfect for us all!

Excellent production, acoustics, costumes and actors; magnificent setting, gorgeous theater. Wish we had time to visit the museum too.

Such a beautiful place! I love the grounds. They are very scenic and inviting. I love the outdoors and nature and I went on a quiet, nice day when it was a great time to take it all in.

We went to see the Great Gatsby Valentine's Day weekend. The show was great, the theater and grounds are beautiful. Even though there was a huge crowd for simultaneous shows, we got a lot of 'that's closed' and 'don't go that way' from the staff. I'm still not sure why. We sat in the balcony and the seats were VERY... More
