A good diversion. We went at odd time, but it was warm enough that the animals were all out basking. The ski chairlift thing is worth it to get an overview of the zoo. Our favorite was the red hog. What a sweet creature! Like a dog!

Love everything about the zoo. We have gone dozens of times and it is always a joy. The best part is feeding giraffes from a deck. The children love it! Food is decent and reasonably priced. Some exhibits are getting worn and outdated but the zoo continues to upgrade! Great family day!

This is a great zoo, the set up is easy to follow and enjoy. The enclosures were very tidy and all the animals were visible. Very enjoyable

The Montgomery Zoo is a "sleeper" --- one of those zoo's you don't think will amount to much, and then you discover that it's a very highly rated, professionally staffed, wonderful zoo!

Zoobilation is the Anniversary celebration of the local zoo. Tickets are sold on-line as well as through the zoo and local papers. There are local restaurants as well as beverage companies represented and beer and wine available in the evening. Local band and news personality help to host this event that brings in an annual fund used to further the... More

You can walk/see the entire zoo in just a few hours (no hills) but there are plenty of animals to see in natural enclosures. I was not expecting to see elephants and tigers. The giraffe feeding is neat for the kids (you can buy food and hand feed them). We also enjoyed the ski lift type sky ride. Also a... More

My daughter and I have visited many zoos over the past few years but this one is by far has the least amount of attractions. You pay extra to ride a train that does not go through any habitats and you see mostly trash and the outside community! Totally not worth the money!

We went once and bought a year pass. Great for families. So many animals and interactive activities. Love that you can do it all in a day, but never get bored! It just feels like you have a chance to get up close & personal with the critters.

It's so nice to see a small zoo do such a good job with habitat for its wildlife. The Montgomery Zoo, being a city-supported zoo, is also to be commended for having such a diverse wildlife population. It covers all the major groups of animals with separate habitats for North America, Australia, Africa, Asia, and South America. It's particularly interesting... More

This is truly a hidden gem, on a Sunday with perfect weather in mid to low 70’s hardly anyone is here???? I almost wanted to not write this to keep this secret to ourselves! This was our second time and I knew I was going to review so I made sure we did and saw it all from the numerous... More
