I think some of the animals are out of season! Feel like the zoo could use a makeover. The train wasn't running and there was a few attractions blocked off for construction. Got kinda confusing.

My kids and I love the zoo! We try to make it up to this zoo at least twice a year. We always come once during the summer, and then we try to do it around Christmas when they have all of their lights out. I am dating this review for Christmas, because that is the last time we went,... More

I love the zoo! Yes it can be pricey if you have young ones, but hand feeding a giraffe...come on! I came to the zoo many times as a child and it is always changing. Lots of events during the year.

The Montgomery zoo has all different kinds of animals to see as well as a airlift that goes over animal cages. They have a snake house and a museum. There's a cafe to grab a bite to eat! They have a gift shop and every October they do zoo boo which is a treat for kids of all ages!

In addition to typical exhibits, the zoo has large open areas for several continents with a mixture of animals. We really enjoy the extra activities such as feeding the giraffes and parakeets and riding the sky lift and paddle boats.

The Montgomery us a fine, smaller zoo that gas beautiful grounds, an assortment of wild animals from all parts of the world, a great parakeet aviary, a ski lift to traverse from one side to the other, a mini train for the kids, and many other surprises. Be sure to check out the tigers and elephants, and the giraffes that... More

Wonderful zoo - well-planned and well-cared for animals. We were pleasantly surprised with the display of animals. It was easy walking and even had a restaurant for light fare after we completed our trek.

We thought the zoo was great! It's small but they had lots of animals. The cage layouts are good also making the animals easy to see. We did the zoo and museum combo but if I go again it would just do the zoo. The zoo offers a lot of additional pay to do things. Up close feedings are worth... More

Great zoo! Divided into two parts really- the "old zoo" part and the new zoo. It was all very cool especially for a small zoo. Lots of "big name" animals too. We loved how accessible the animals seemed too. Rhino and Pygmy hippo were favorites of ours. Also super cool how you can feed the giraffes! We were sad to... More

The Montgomery zoo is a nice place to walk and see animals. it would especially be nice on off days when things are quiet. during the summer can be very muggy in Alabama but the zoo has plenty of shady spots. I wouldn't personally plan to stay more than 3 hours at the zoo. After that you can have seen... More
