We went to the Planetarium on a week day as a group of military spouses/children. They let us jump in with a 3rd grade class. The show was geared toward children, so some of the spouses were a little bored. The movie didn't really teach much about space and was more a movie. After the movie, they did put some... More

A wonderful experience for kids (most ages), the best things are: they've the latest projector available only at few plantetariums across country and the lady managing the show was great in her simple n interesting explanation on the fascinating n mesmerizing nature ahead n beyond us. The short movie on Pluto was awesome. Must see for all who love to... More

This is a very nice planetarium. It's nicer than I expected in Montgomery. When it's sweltering outside, cool off and view the stars

I've lived in Montgomery AL my whole life and never got to go to the planetarium. My brother did on a field trip once, but I always thought it was too expensive. Boy was I wrong! Tickets were $6.50 and it was amazing! I am now going to start going once a month!

We had some time between events and decided to swing by for a visit. We did not learn anything new, but we enjoyed the presentation. We would go back again.

I went here with my 8 year old daughter. We were the only patrons at the 4:00 show so the man running it gave us a choice of which movie we'd like to see. Afterward, he sat with us and explained what the stars would look like in the Montgomery sky that night. He also taught us how to find... More

My boyfriend and I went to the planetarium looking for something different to do on a rainy Sunday. $6.50 a person for admission. You can tell the presentation is geared toward education (different than IMAX entertainment, for example). I have seen better planetarium shows but the woman in charge was very knowledgable and we enjoyed learning about meteors in our... More

New digital projector that displays a nice image on the dome. They are still figuring out what is best for showing. They had a few cartoonish characters that displayed and helped explain some of the stars. This has a great potential and is neat if you have never been. Just take time to relax and get out of the heat... More

We went for the grand reopening, we stood in line for quite sometime 20-30 min we saw no signage for pricing or show times( I doubt they're usually so crowded )before someone was kind enough to inform us the tickets were available inside the "gift shop" which is actually a small counter full of arcade prizes..I believe the newly renovated...
