It is reservation only but is free, come at least 15 mins early to check out the little museum of Hyundai before the tour.. In order to get kids interested in the field of technology, I took a group of potential engineering students to tour the plant. The Hyundai staff is awesome!! The tour is very well tailored to people who want to learn about the process of making autos. Besides being a massive facility, the engineering technology and especially the robotics, are quite... The tour itself was great! It was extremely interesting and the guides were very knowlegable. The only bad part was the inappropraite comments made by the security guard. I do not appreciate being hit on and called baby and being told I look so good and fine. It is not just the guests he says the comment to. I heard... More

I was very interested to see a factory, any factory, where cars are built. When I found out that Hyundai offers factory tours, I immediately signed up for it. If you would like to do the same thing, you have to keep in mind that tours are by reservation only. I am not sure if this can be done over... More

This tour was outstanding! It was very interesting and we got to see more of the factory than I expected to see by riding through in a tram. Book a spot online well before your visit, as when I looked for our trip there was only one time slot left during the time we were in Montgomery that was not... More

We like factory tours and this one was no exception. The tour guide was outstanding, friendly and willing to answer questions after the tour. The tour and movie leading up to the tour last about 1 hour or so. The factory itself is well organized and clean. It makes one proud to see a quality product manufactured in the USA.... More

Unlike similar assembly plants, you can book in on-line and if its not busy, today for tomorrow. Having visited car plants in the U S A and Europe, it compares well. No plant allows you the time an enthusiast would love and much of your time is taken up watching videos and then in an electric tram be whizzed around,... More

Evening tour through the plant - you ride on a tram that takes you through the factory. Fascinating to see how cars are make- by people and robots. This is a free tour - just have to make a reservation. If you are in the area, go see it!

The tour lasts about 1.5 hours, I would have liked at least 3 hours. Just amazing when you see what can be accomplished with technology and a motivated work force. It is overload when you try to take in all that is occurring as they produce approximately 1500 Elantras and Sonatas in a 22 hour work cycle. I was so... More
