Better than expected and worth the long trip! We saw an impressive array of robots at work which at times the imagery from the futuristic movies flash in your mind - the sounds, the motions, the scale, etc. You get to see the different phases of the car production from start to finish during the tour in which you ride... Factory tours are always interesting, especially when it comes to complicated items. Putting together Elantras and Sonatas, though, is a bit tougher than making pretzels. Somehow, a bunch of metal comes in the front door, and after a series of 48-second stops around the complex, it comes out as a car. This goes on for 24 hours a day, five... More

If you have some time to kill between meetings or something these and are in the area its worth it. Don't travel to see it more then 20-30 mins thought its not that good.

Our family including kids 7 and 11 all enjoyed the 1.5 hour tour (minimum age is 6). The tour included a brief video at the beginning, then a cart ride through much of the facility. Parts of the ride are outside the buildings, so be prepared. Everyone wore safety glasses. Wireless headphones allowed the tour guide to give thorough and... More

We mainly went on this tour for my husband, but I really enjoyed it as well. Since we own a Hyundai it made it a little more interesting too! You start the tour with a short video then continue on a tram tour of the factory. It lasted about an hour and a half and was really neat. I couldn't... More

After checking in at the appointed time, we were admitted to the grounds of Hyundai and were directed to the visitors center. The personnel from the guard at the gate to the tour guide were pleasant and informative. The tour itself was amazing and informative. To know that each and every car is test driven prior to shipping was a... More

Its amazing the company does this tour for free really, its great and lasts over an hour. The guide was very knowledgeable and being shown the factory while it was working was amazing access. You really get to see how they make the cars and have a better appreciation of your own vehicle when you leave. All power to Hyundai... More

This was amazing. The huge size of it is impressive by itself. Seeing how a car is built is impressive. Something we use everyday and don't think about. All employees were happy, and helpful. Yes, it is an inside/outside tour. Not a lot of walking, as you are in the tram. But dress for weather conditions.

My family and I recently went on a tour of the plant and were very impressed. Our guide was knowledgable, friendly, and engaging, and the facility itself is so impressive both in its scale and functionality. My father is an engineer and enjoys all things mechanical and technical (especially when related to cars), so I expected him to be a... More

Need something action packed to see while in Montgomery area, the Hyundai Factory Tour is the place.. It is reservation only but is free, come at least 15 mins early to check out the little museum of Hyundai before the tour.. When the tour starts, you will get to see a short movie about the factory itself and explanation of... More
