Beautiful building set up to flow nicely with lots of free pamphlets and friendly staff who were eager to help. We parked in the back free and we even we're giving a parking pass to use down-town to site-see & visit! Make sure you stop here first it was a great time & money saver. This street car/trolley is parked... More

My husband had visited before but had walked from his hotel so did not know there is free parking behind the building, There did not seem to be signs telling us this. The staff here was extremely friendly and helpful They have many brochures and helpful maps of the city. Start here when touring the sites of Montgomery

Conveniently located in downtown Montgomery next to the river. Offers free visitor parking and extensive information and very friendly and passionate staff. An excellent short video is shown to highlight key information about the city and parking options are available when visiting the capital buildings and museums. A great day out to explore the grandeur of this mighty southern city... More

Loved this place, great gift shop. We actually went in tour from there..it was awesome. We are from Alabama and it was our first trip to Montgomery. We had a great time and said we were going back.

Glad we visited the Visitors Center first. The receptionist was very knowledgeable. We visited on the weekend so the parking was free, but there's available paid meter parking near the building. Be sure to visit the gift shop. ..you might be surprised as I was there at Alana syrup is Alabama:)

It is nice town compare with Birmingham but all cities in Alabama was quiet and calm. You could not see much happening in the city but still better than Birmingham
