Visitors will get information about all the Montgomery places to visit and may take a tour by bus that is inexpensive and historically correct. There is even a Rosa Parks style bus to see. The center distributes helpful information, maps, and sells gifts as well. More

I know Sunday is the Lord's day, but if the Lord wanted to sightsee in Montgomery, AL he would not be able to do it on Sunday. More

It's within walking distance of the downtown hotels and a definite stop if it is your first visit to Montgomery or if you have been there several times. The lady on duty was very helpful in pointing out things to do. More

I can not emphasize how much you see and learn while taking the trolley routes. After going to the tourist center, we went back to a few places we passed along the route which we would never have chosen to do had we not taken the tour. I have gone on the trolley rides every time I've visited and always... More

There is so much information available here that one can spend a while both having questions answered as well as admiring the building that houses the Montgomery Visitors Center. Take the trolley tour! More

We visited the tourist office in the old Union Station downtown and were pleasantly surprised. They have info on the whole state and very helpful staff. For a dollar you can buy a ride on the trolleys, old style, that run two routes. One is the History trail and the other is the civil rights trail. There is no air... More

We blew in and out of this lovely old train station in the heart of Montgomery, AL. We stumbled onto it while we were looking for food. IT was nice, but I had 3 little ones, not much to do for them (but I didn't look very hard as they were starving). The best thing, is that after you wander... More

Has to be the best deal in town! We went to the Visitors Center as we were walking around after lunch and found out they have a trolly that leaves about every 20 minutes. It was very, very informative and.........believe it........20 cents for Senior Citizens!! It costs 60 cents to hop on...hop off but I recommend taking the whole tour... More
