Beautiful gravesite. Interesting to drive around the cemetery. His museum was actually open on SUNDAY, unlike everything else, but that was not what I came to see. More

This memorial is simple but breath taking. The view from the grave is beautiful and the site itself houses many family members. Close to other attrations in Montgomery. More

We stopped at the cemetery during a trip through Montgomery. It didn't take us long to find Williams' grave. Apparently, this wasn't the original grave. The family apparently moved it to the prominent spot it now occupies. The grave is a fitting tribute to the music legend since it's decorated with musical symbols. More

the locals here tell me that you have to go to Hank's gravesite and 'have a beer' with him...crack open a cold one and leave one for him as well :) we've driven by a couple times, but got to learn some more details about the grave and his life/death while on the haunted hearse tour back in Oct...definitely worth... My favorite part of the day was driving around the cemetery. We visited Hank Williams' grave and then drove through this and the adjoining graveyard. Maybe I am weird but I like graveyards and this one is a great picture of the history of Montgomery. More

We went by the cemetary following a visit to the Hank Williams Museum downtown. It's a nice way to end the Hank experience. The cemetary is incredibly well taken care of and just down from Hank's grave is a section with the graves of apx 75 French soldiers from World War II. Interesting story - look it up while you... Found it by mistake, but what a find! It's on a road off the main strip. We had no idea that Hank Williams was even buried in Montgomery, and were quite surprised by the sign as you enter the cemetery with his picture welcoming you. If you go straight in, you will see his grave on your left, as well... More

beautiful, old Southern cemetery. The memorial is buried in the back of the cemetery, whilch means that tourists have to traipse over teh graves of others just to get there. Then you find that the memorial itself is tackily overdone, and has a spelling error chiseled into the back of the granite... More
