Although this is a small museum they have some fabulous art glass, paintings and sculpture...recently have hosted numerous exciting exhibits including Audobon prints, etchings by Durer, and the St. John's illuminated Bibile. More

If you love the art of glass making you will adore this museum. They do have some very nice exhibits from time to time. Just for a day trip from out of town I would make sure I knew what was showing. It is not a very large place so make sure you like what they show. More

Excellent variation in artists and mediums. There is something to see for every type of art lover. Do not miss the Apocalypse Horsemen, the lighting display makes this a very moving piece. I went for the Black History exhibit and was moved by several of the pieces, one of the best exhibits related to black artists. Bring a picnic lunch... More

The collection is pretty meager, and at $10 way overpriced. The facility is nice, but not worth a visit. The Birmingham Museum is FAR better, and it's FREE. More

Of course we enjoyed the art. But after recently visiting several other art museums that also had relatively new buildings or additions, we were also aware of our easy experience in moving through the building. Mobile has a user-friendly size and layout. On entering, it was easy enough to find the art (should be obvious but tell that to Richmond... More

The price was reasonsble. The art is amazing. Oils, sketches, photos, glass, abstract, classis, scenery. It was a rainy day this offered a great place to spend a couple of hours. The only think the city could do was be to clean up the lake that the museum overlooks. Other than that we really enjoyed the visit. More

The Mobile Museum of Art is a very modern building set on a serene lake with ducks. They have a great variety of art in their collection. This is a great place to spend a Sunday afternoon with a date. There are walking trails and benches around the lake and places for picnics as well. Don't bring your camera into... More

love the museum but the city is really lacking in the quality of how it maintains the park in front of the museum. Langan park has a beautiful lake that needs to be dredged of debris, It has become an eyesore to the beautiful Museum More
