The water was too cold for me but the kids had a blast cooling off in the water. The bathhouse was nice after a long day of swimming. The price can't be beat and the staff were very friendly. A few patrons were a bit gruff and vulger to be around children.

I had this park on my list of places to go for a while. I was able to go for the first time last month, and had a great time. Got lost on the nature trail, but made it out safely. Beware of the spiders.

Very nice and pretty place. Completely satisfy with the experience of taking my club and family there. Staff was very professional and a great southern hospitality. Canoeing was great, trails are awesome for biking and for hiking. Didn't have to buy or take wood for fire place. Showers are big and clean. Can't sit around and wait, have to go... More

I found staff friendly. You have to get there early to rent a kayak. Kayak rental price seems to be pretty reasonable. A good place to bike.

Walking trail in woods with a hand pump for ground water. pulled the boat up to the edge. could also walk to park entrance through woods if necessary. nice little store at park gate. price for camping was good. no bathrooms at site (but that is... Unless you want to swim in a red clay mud hole (we saw human feces in the water!) keep yourself and your kids away from here. The people who were there were crude, cursing, and nasty and there seemed to be no authority to monitor activity.

It was a very rainy day, but me and my hubby still have a nice picnic under one of the pavilions. This is a pretty little park.

We live in town and come over to swim and spend the day. Always clean and the staff is very nice and helpful. Perfect place for large groups who want to get together for the day.

First of all, they charged us $1 a person to enter (Even Gulf State Park, which I have also reviewed does not charge to enter). When we entered, the park did not have clear instructions on where to go. We walked around the disc golf area for so long before realizing what it was. The trails were not paved and... More

This park has a nice disc golf course… not just 18 holes, but I believe 27 (we played 18… they either have 27 or 36). Helpful staff, but a little off the beaten path.
