The inside of the Basilica is beautiful. We especially liked the Stations of the Cross, the sanctuary area, and the spiral staircase leading to the chapel tucked underneath the chruch.

Be sure to take your time. The architecture is breathtaking and the stained glass windows are amazing. Be sure to venture down the spiral stairs to where the Bishops are buried.

Quite a large and impressive church and bisicilla , the design off the square sets up the view for the whole downtown. My wife enjoyed the visit and a quick prayer!

Beautiful and ornate. Go downstairs and view the crypts of bishops etc. A lovely piece of Catholic history in Mobile.

Reminiscent of European cathedrals but in Alabama. Lovely stations of the cross and stained glass windows. This is a quick, free walk-through close to the DAR Museum.

Located next to Dauphine street, it's worth to walk in and enjoy the cool silent space. The building is well maintained and has the European feel to it that makes it really a nice Cathedral.

This Cathedral is well known for its stained glass windows and beautiful ceiling. We were there on a Tuesday morning in March and fortunately the building was open. We had time to admire the architecture and sit peacefully away from a hectic world. Visit for both the art/architecture and the peace.

My son and I were killing time, so we decided to visit. This is perhaps the most beautiful place I've ever seen. When you enter, you really feel that this is a reverent place.

We were advised not to miss this gem by a young lady who served us at Mama's down the street. If this Catholic Cathedral made such an impression on a 20-something non-Catholic, we felt it worth our time to visit. She was right-it is stunning. The Church is about to undergo a 2 year stained glass window restoration which will... More
