Beautiful cathedral, wonderfully decorated ceiling, traditional stained glass windows, quiet, peaceful. Full of WOW if you happen to catch it with the lights on inside. Also a wonderful backdrop to exterior photos too. We always take international visitors. Iron fence and gates date from the 1850's. We worth a few minutes of your day.

Recently using TA as a guide while passing through town, we decided to stop at old Mobile for lunch at highly TA rated Mediterrean Sandwich Co. After our lunch we strolled to a nearby park and took in the local Cathedral. The building has the great distinction of having the good fortune of being very well maintained and it really... More

The Cathedral is a beautiful building that has a long and interesting history. To me it is also the most spiritual place in Mobile. It's worth a visit.

My family and I went last weekend and I have to say it took my breath away. I loved everything about it. One of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. If you get a chance go you won't be sorry.

This church is a site to see, and the stained glass windows are fantastic. We went twice because we missed the spiral stairs in the center of the church that lead down to the crypt. This is a very inspirational place.

This beautiful Catholic Cathedral is a must see in Mobile. The high arched ceilings are impressive. Most spectacular are the colorful stained-glass windows. Not only are they impressive in size, but they are inticately detailed. Try to go when mass is not scheduled (the website has the times for mass), this way you can spend time marveling at the windows.... More

There was a mass in progress at noon on Thursday so we couldn't really walk around to view each window. The windows have beautiful color. This is worth a visit and is right downtown
