The place is really nice, the Cathedral Square that is outside plus the inside are just great place to go.
Then you can have some food and tea at the Spot of Tea just in front.

I love visiting the Catholic cathedrals. This is a very nice one. While I have seen fancier ones I was thrilled with the stained glass windows. I make it a point to visit great churches that have ranged from 1000 year old cathedrals in England to a little quiet corner church in Manhattan.

We enjoyed touring the Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception during a 3 day visit to Mobile. Weekday Mass is 7:50 AM and 12:10 PM, and we toured the facility after the noon mass was over.
