We toured the USS Alabama and the submarine and hanger with planes in about 3 hours. Very wonderful exhibits. Alot of climbing up and down stairs. Very hot inside some areas without AC so bring your sweatrag and water. more

This was a fun stop for us. We enjoyed exploring the ship and submarine on our own. You can use a map that they have available to follow an exact tour, but we stuck to just wandering around and found it just as fun. The regular cost is a bit much, but it is free for military and small children. more

The USS Alabama Battleship is a great attraction. I had toured it as a kid & it was even better as an adult. It is amazing to be on an actual combat battleship. Great place to take the family. more

Went while on a business trip. A word of warning of you have mobility issues; you will not be able to get to the more intimate and deep parts of the battleship.
