Good place to take photo. Nothing impressive

Good place to take photo. Nothing impressive. But it is one of the icons of Melaka, near Christ Church and Jonker Walk. So no harm taking a phot with it when you pass by.

The fountain is iconic of Malacca. It's a must visit to have a photo taken as souvenir of your time in Malacca. Another photo opportunity is the Christ Church on the other side of the square. Easy to get to and within walking distance of Jonker St, the Stadhuys and if you can brave the Malaccan sun, St Peter's.

Since not much info can be obtained from this landmark, you can just take photos of and with the fountain. It's a good place to sit down and relax, or to jump off the tour.

It's one of the historical landmarks of Melaka, won't take you more than 10minutes to inspect it and take few pictures.

Visited the Queen Victoria fountain on 1 May 2015 ,a very crowded day since morning because its a national holiday. The Fountain is located in the same area as The Stadthuys Malacca and the Christ Church, so it would be definitely visible. It is just beside the Tan Beng Siew Clock Tower. The fountain was built to commemorate the Diamond... More

Not particularly interesting. Placed In the centre of tourist attraction, which I wouldn't really call an attraction

Well, it’s just a fountain but it is in the Dutch Square so you’re going to see it. It’s a nice fountain and you can take some nice photos but it’s always a crowded area. People sit around the fountain so it’s almost impossible to take a photo without also taking the people there.
