Jonker street during the day may be a little sleepy, where you can find antiques and souvenirs. When it's Friday-Sunday nights after 6pm, the street livens up with a night market, where fantastic food/items can be found.

Jonker Street Night Market provide a different feel of shopping to us as you can see, feel and taste all types of things that you seldom see or found it in big city like Kuala Lumpur. During day time, Jonker Street is providing all of types of items that you miss it during my childhood time.

Going there on weekdays will be a disappointment. Weekends will be crowded. Many food stalls along the main roads. They block off the road for human traffic.

We toured on a Saturday night, very busy but enjoyable, food everywhere, shopping and best of all fabulous beaded shoes.

Who doesn't know Jonker Street? Not complete your Malacca journey if not visiting this place. A lot of peoples, variety of food, souvenirs... It's a crazy environment. Sometimes, it's too pack and to hot.

nothing much to do here except looking at sarongs and old clothes. Most of the shops were closed during the day. The weather was too hot to walk around and then it rained. We (my family) did not enjoy this one bit.

Truly, truly fun and huge. I would recommend going there with an empty stomach and an appetite for junk food!

Jonker St meets the expectations of a typical night market - street snacks, souvenirs, accessories and crowds. I was a bit surprised all the stalls were opened even though it was drizzling because I recalled that the night market was closed when i last visited two years ago in a same wet weather condition. The variety of stalls and F&B... More

More relaxed than most markets but still quite crowded. There was entertainment on Sunday night. Lots of nice little shops and interesting buildings. Plenty of colour and gaiety.
